The first thing you notice is there is a big car park with lots of spaces to park for free which is a major plus staying in Chichester as most of the hotels either don’t have parking onsite or you have to pay for it.
I arrived to a warm welcome and had a little chat about my day etc, the hotel room was very nice, nice amenities, good selection of coffee and tea, lots of towels, and smelt fresh and clean.
The bar serves a wide range of drinks and nibbles, and the food looked amazing. They had an acoustic open mic night which was very good.
Would highly recommend.

We only had a very short trip and could have stayed much longer and done so much more, we thoroughly enjoyed what we did do though. The Bishops Palace garden is beautiful and well worth a visit, we also enjoyed Fishbourne Roman Palace, which is really interesting and has some beautiful gardens and mosaics. Sadly it rained a lot and we couldn't do some of the things we had planned, maybe next time. We visited Tinwood vineyard on our way home and had a delicious lunch and bought some lovely sparkling wine to take home.

Comprehensive shopping and eateries - we found the people really lovely, chatty and happy to help. So much history, lots to see. You must visit Luckes - independent, fabulous food, lovely staff. The Real Eating company - really good coffee, lovely staff. Our first experience was a bit unfortunate but the manager and staff were quick to respond and rectify that - highly recommend them - they have two venues in Chichester.

Our first visit to Chichester, to meet up with relatives who live locally, we had limited time to explore the town. We wandered around, walked on the old city walls, visited an interesting museum with a temporary display of Star Wars toys and of course visited the Cathedral. Chichester has largely retained the old type of 'proper' town centre with individual local shops in addition to the larger chains which makes it more interesting to walk around.

The city centre is very compact with the main shopping areas, bars and restaurants close to the cathedral and within the city walls.
Would recommend the 2.2 mile walk around the old city walls from where you can stop off and enjoy Priory Park and The Bishops Garden.
Pleanty of cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from. Would recommend The Barn in Little London which is great for coffee and delicious pastries and the food and cocktails at Purchases were fantastic. Lemongrass Thai restaurant in St Pancras was also very good.
An informative and enjoyable guided walk can be booked from the Novium Museum.

We planned to go to the Pallant Museum and really enjoyed the exhibition which we had booked to see as well as other items on display. The stunning buildings there were Georgian and modern and the coffee shop was lovely. The restaurant looked great although we did not eat there. The cathedral was very interesting and an ancient building with arresting 20th century artworks. The Palace gardens next to the cathedral incorporate some of the old city walls and are peaceful and beautifully planted. The Roman Palace at Fishbourne was easily accessible by bus or train and has an amazing set of finds and mosaic floors. We ate at Cote Brasserie which had lovely food in a low key but smart building.
Down visiting friends who live down the road and had stayed at local hotels in the past but being a Friday wanted somewhere just for the one night - this ticked all the boxes and will absolutely be our first port of call next trip down. Car charger on the drive. Jane was wonderful - super friendly, room had everything we needed and was beautifully done - and a great breakfast delivered to the door. See you again soon!
This hotel is run by two lovely people, Iris and George. The breakfast was delicious and personally cooked by the owners.
Everything was of a very high quality and Iris and George were really friendly and welcoming and recommended good restaurants to eat nearby. The hotel is centrally located and we walked to the theatre to see South Pacific in under 15 minutes. We will definitely go back to this hotel.
The breakfast was good, and the location is excellent if you want to see the Roman Palace excavated very close by. The room was quiet, as it did not face the busy road that runs by the pub. The staff were helpful, and there is good bus service, about every 20 minutes, in to Chichester, where parking can be a challenge.
Lovely location, in the centre of Chichester, next to the Cathedral. Very clean and quiet, cosy room. You can actually open your windows, which is something you don’t get in a chain hotel!! There heating and a fan. Good selection of tea, coffee and coffee machine. Free Parking very close by. Would highly recommend
Bedroom (Room 1) was comfortable and spacious. The staff were all warm, welcoming and friendly. This was my second time staying at the Chichester Inn. The location is great due its short walk into the town centre and its direct access into Bishops Palace Gardens behind their car park.
The hotel, in a central but peaceful location, is in a beautiful, listed building, which has been sensitively and beautifully renovated. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal and had a super first but not last visit to Chichester.
Both rooms were comfortable, the stairs were a bit of a hassle as both couples were in their 60's.
The breakfast was excellent and the free parking was a bonus.
We would recommend this hotel in Chichester to anyone wanting a comfortable and good value room.
Very happy with everything. Hotel very clean, staff professional and friendly. The food was fantastic -top marks for the steak! Shout out to the cleaners who left our room spotless every day. Highly recommended for a stay in Chichester.
Hotel is in the town centre, a short walk to pubs, restaurants, Cathedral etc. Hotel is also a pub, with good beer! The staff here are some of the nicest, friedliest people you'll ever meet and it was a real pleasure staying there.
A great location right in the heart of Chichester, fantastic staff throughout the hotel, superb bar, a very comfortable room and a wonderful breakfast. The Harbour Hotel is now on my list to stay at when I'm in the area.
The apartment was very spacious with a large living area and bedroom. It was modern, good shower and it had everything you needed. It was a short taxi ride to Chichester town centre. There was an Aldi nearby (walkable).
The room was nice and clean, everything worked fine, no problems. There is a small gym and pool which was a bonus. Very close to the main roads in and out of Chichester and the water park.
Hotel is lovely, clean and well maintained. It is ideally situated in the centre of the city with parking nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious.
The location is good, nice and quiet but close enough to Chichester central town and to the beach.
Breakfast is very good.
The hotel is cosy with a warm atmosphere.
The room was clean and comfortable with good facilities and the hotel was situated in a convenient area for visiting Chichester, Arundel and Fishbourne.
