The staff were really friendly and made things really easy by picking us up on arrival in Levanto and again after dinner out. The room was lovely and the bar was well stocked with more food options than we expected. But the highlight by far is the pool and the setting, I can't imagine a nicer place to go for a swim than high in the hills above the sea at sunset! Absolutely stunning.
Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, La Sosta di Ottone III offers pet-friendly accommodation in Chiesanuova, a 10-minute drive from Levanto and 68 km from Portofino.

Room was a good size and very clean. Hostess was very nice. Great location near downtown Levanto. We had a car so access was quick and easy. The pool looked lovely but we didn't get a chance to use it.

If you are walking the Cinque Terre, then Levanto is the ideal location. You get the train travel at a reduced price as you are just inside the region, the trains are quite regular and quick. Its handy if you want to go further up the coast to Portofino or down the coast to Pisa and beyond.
Its a proper town, so has all the things you need (supermarket, pharmacies etc) unlike the actual Cinque Terre towns which are crowed with day tourists and mostly cater to their needs.
We had a great stay here, lots of choice in restaurants would be more than happy to return if we had the time.

We chose Levanto because we wanted lodging to be in a relatively flat area but as close to the Cinque Terre cities as possible. The town itself is charming with lots of restaurant options. The people we met were friendly and helpful. Given the 5 cities of Cinque Terre, we allowed ourselves 5 nights and 4 full days - probably a day or 2 too long. It was easy to use the hop-on, hop-off boat and get a great view of the cities from the water. Travel to those cities by train was easy but crowded in mid September.

A beautiful walkable city with a beautiful beach and easy access to sunset boat tours and Cinque Terre via train. I recommend Wine at Cantina Dei 1000, sunset boat tour with Costa di Faraggiana, and dinner at Le Due Lune.
The staff from Le Divine were outstanding. The day before check in, they sent me a detailed message on how to arrive and make the check in easier. Check in was so easy and Stefania gave us many tips of what to do and where to go and tips on how to save around Levanto and Cinque Terre. The room was amazing, clean, comfortable, modern and walking distance to everything. We travelled with a 2 month old baby and it could not have been easier. We went everrywhere by train. We will definitely visit again.
The room was very clean, and it has a lot of space for two people. As seen in the pictures, the WC is close to the room, but it shouldn’t be a problem flor solo-travellers and long time couples. For shy people, it offers a great oppportunity for brief walks to discover the beauties of Levanto ;) The amenities were great, the room has a mini bar and even though it is paid, it’s a life saviour when you want a drink in the midnight. Daría was very welcoming, we had a lovely stay. Prices were good.
We found the accommodation very comfortable and close to Levanto by car. Heating was great as it was quite cold. Hot shower and comfortable bed and also has a small bar fridge which came in handy for us. Claudia was very welcoming. She met us at a close carpark, asked us to follow her and not to hesitate accelerating up the steep driveway!!!! As we had a car she also gave us a carparking pass for levanto so parking was free. Great base for cinque terre.
We had a fantastic stay at Casa Ela, a lot of care has been put into making this property a home away from home, and it shows. The rooms and facilities have a good size, the apartment was sparkling clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the terrace. The pass to get free parking at Levanto Station was a welcome bonus! We had no issue to park in the street above Casa Ela. Highly recommend this property to explore the wonderful Cinque Terre! Thank you for having us!
Excellent stay! We had a lot of luggage and a bigger car and the parking was easy and just up the road. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. We spent a lot of time by the pool and it was so relaxing. The train station to visit cinque terre was 10 minutes down the road in Levanto and they provided us with a parking pass which was very helpful. This is the best bed & breakfast I personally have ever stayed in!
We had a perfect stay at Terra di mare !
The place is very peaceful with an amazing view on the mountains and the sea ! The breakfast is also very good and diverse.
The hotel is perfectly located if you want to visit the Cinque Terre and the hosts also gave us the best advice to visit places less touristic than the Cinque Terre (we were there during Easter weekend).
We highly recommend this place.
The property is easy to reach from the station and well placed for a walk into Levanto. The grounds are nice and breakfast is really good. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, they recommended walks for us and hotels for the evening.
Levanto is a good base for the Cinque Terre as you are at the end of the train line. Plenty of good restaurants in the town and a lot less busy than other villages.
acquamarina was in a perfect location. a short walk to a beautiful waterfront and an even shorter walk to the train station for transfers to the Cinque Terre towns.
check in and out was simple and efficient. Valentina was friendly and helpful. the apartment was spotless, modern and very well equipped.
Perfect for a couple.
we loved our stay in Levanto, and would highly recommend Aquamarina.
- the location of the apartment is perfect! Access to the beach is literally 2 minutes away, as well as access to the shops and restaurants.
- the host was very friendly and helpful to show
us around the apartment and the ways to visit Cinque Terre.
- it's a good apartment for a family up to 4 people.
- kitchen with everything you need in it (not always a given in apartments in Italy...)
We have been diving through Italy for 16 days and this was the best accommodation we stayed. Great value for money. Spectacular views from the pool, from the room balcony and form dining area. Great relaxing pool area. Super organised free transport to town center. Wide choice for breakfast, Italian and continental. Excellent, we wish we could stay longer.
I liked the postion of appartmet ,near from train station and in the hart of the city there is supermarkt under the appartment, near from the sea ,which is wonderful, there is pizzaria Picea the top of all of italy ، I advise you to look for a pizza restaurant called (La Picea), which won awards for the best pizza in the world, more than wonderful.
Great location & lots of space especially great when we had some rainy days. Very well equipped kitchen. Whole apt nicely renovated. Very quiet. Levanto feels like a real Italian beach town… Cinque Terre towns felt over-subscribed. You can walk from Levanto to Monterosso but that 1200’ hill was beastly at times - not for the timid.
Villa Valentina is a beautiful village. Valentina & Paula are the best hostess, they made you feel as family. The Angelica Room was charming, big and confortable, with attention to detail all around.
The property is located in Levanto, with great access to train and boat for an enjoyable visit to Cinque Terre & Portovenere.
Extremely clean and comfortable apartment. Location is in a lovely quiet village area. 25min walk to city of Levanto and train station. Great base location to experience levanto and Cinque Terre which is a 10 minute train ride
Great hotel, very calm and close to the train station. Really great to give a «levanto parking card » to customers who are travelling by car.
Staff is really nice and rooms are cleaned every days. Recommend this hostel!
Best location. 5 minute walk to the train station to get you to Cinque Terre. 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and shopping. Barbara was very helpful.
Location in Levanto gave easy walking access to this beautiful seacoast village. The room was just what we needed for a couple days visiting Cinque Terre.
