The hotel is called Palazzo Pascal Luxury Experience and it is all about luxury. Our room was beautiful and clean. The terrace was amazing and we were given a complimentary bottle of bubbles to enjoy on the terrace. We loved our bath tubes and slippers and the lovely quality toiletries. We will definitely be back.
Boasting a balcony with garden views, pool with a view and a garden, Villa san Lorenzo rooms can be found in Scala, close to San Lorenzo Cathedral and 2.5 km from Atrani Beach.

This place was so nice, we were driving through amalfi coast so taking the car was doable if you are braving the coast, the traffic only gets better coming up this way and we were lucky we did because there's zero parking literally anywhere on the amalfi, here we had free, easy parking and a beautiful view - it was a 30 minute walk for us into town, all downhill so obviously back up was more difficult but it took just 35 minutes for us but it's around 3km straight uphill - you don't need to walk on any busy road there's a beautiful trail with steps and views incorporated the whole way down so the hike is worth it and our room was so cute staff was so nice and breakfast good! 2 great pools no complaints
Offering country-style rooms with air conditioning, free WiFi and a private balcony, Rianna Rooms & Breakfast has a peaceful hilly location a 15-minute drive from Amalfi.

Place was very clean, view from the room was amazing. Location was good. Close to Amalfi, Atrani and Positano. But there was no place to eat or a proper shop to buy good. Restaurant was closed. We arrived at around 18:30, we were very tired and could not find nowhere to eat. Went to sleep very angry and tired
Boasting pool with a view and views of pool, Villa Amì is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Scala, 1.8 km from Marina Grande Beach.

If you prefer peace instead of the usual crowds of the amalfi coast this is the place to be. The walk along the hill to reach the villa is certainly worth it. The view is magnificent. And with a little physical effort multiple good restaurants in the neighbourhood can be reached on foot (idem for public transport if you do not have a car).
Set in a renovated Episcopal palace, this property is located in the medieval centre of Pontone. It features panoramic sea and mountain views, stylish rooms, and italian breakfast.

Thé hôtel is lovely. Rooms are large and well appointed. Spotless clean. Breakfasts are delicious home cooked and served on a beautiful terrace. Evening meals like breakfast are all home cooked.
Scala is lovely and Ravello walkable If you are fit.
Scala is lovely and Ravello walkable If you are fit. The bus service to Amalfi and Ravello could be a little erratic. Having a car is more of a hinderance than a help. Restaurants and cafes are available. San Lorenzo Cathedral is worth a visit. They still use mules to deliver goods etc in the village. A very quaint town

There is only 1 restaurant and a pizzaria in the village.
There is only 1 restaurant and a pizzaria in the village. The shops are very basic but you should be able to get most things if you self-cater. It is easy to get to Ravello by bus (tickets must be purchased in advance from the "card shop"). Ideally you need your own transport as the terrain is very hilly. It is expensive to get to and from the airport by taxi.

Great little town, quite and off the busy Amalfi coast towns with a nice view. Having a car really helped. There was a great restaurant within a 20 minute walk of our B&B. You need to be in good shape to walk around, as very hilly.

Scala is quiet, authentic and charming, with beautiful views of Ravello and the Amalfi coast everywhere you go. There are a few decent café and restaurant options, mostly in the town center. This is a steep mountain village so having a car to go up and down the switchback slopes is highly recommended. Finding parking in the small town center was never an issue, not even in the middle of July.

Scala is a small, unspoilt town with several bars and restaurants on the main road. Further restaurants are dotted through the town, Zio Peppe was a great find up in the hills and Il Pinguino serve great food. Da Pietro snack bar in the town square has great views across the gorge and serves the best Aperol spritz.
If you want to explore further there is a great picnic area at Parco Paradiso, hidden high up in the hills, where you can bring your own food to cook on wood burning grills and pizza ovens with nothing but the sound of nature.
There is a regular bus service to Ravello and Amalfi and also a walking route down to Amalfi.
Parking spaces marked with blue are pay-parking.

Higher up the hill.
Higher up the hill. Little village with view at Ravello and the Amalfi Coast, enjoy living between the locals. Just at walking distance you find Restaurants serve local dishes. We eat at Ristorante Il Pinguino, delicious dishes and pizza. In the morning we took the dog for a walk and met the donkeys in the narrow alleys op hill where you find a beautiful view over the coastline.
Great location, beautiful view across to Ravello, big terrace with lots of sun. There is no pool on the property yet, but one is being built soon, and in the meantime guests can use a pool at a hotel next door. Carla and Sasa were very helpful and responsive, even promptly bringing us charcoal and lighters for the barbeque on our terrace when we inquired. The property is beautifully landscaped, with many flowers, vines, lemon trees etc so that it is just a lovely place to be.
This is the level of care, kindness and friendliness that other hotels should match. The service is at the highest level, Francesca and Imma helped to rent a scooter, at every step we felt that they wanted to create the best conditions for our stay. The location of the hotel is very beautiful, we were given advice on where to go and what to see. Breakfast was great too. We can safely say that this hotel was one of the best in our life.
The location was amazing with great views to Ravello and the ocean and good access to Amalfi. Scala is a lovely little town to visit too, 5 mins walk up some steps. Lovely private outdoor space as well with our villa. The accommodation was spacious and spotless and ours had cooking facilities. There is a lovely pool looking out across to Ravello. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely enjoy staying again.
Stay longer!
Pina, the owner or manager, was wonderful. She told us which bus to take, provided an item that we were in need of, and went out of her way for us.
The location, the view, was incredible. We should have booked a couple more nights there.
There is a bus stop right there but the bus doesn't stop there often. Not a problem. A 10 to 15 minute walk takes you to Scala which has much more frequent buses.
Luigi was very solicitous and had great suggestions for restaurants and cafes. The Scala location was gorgeous and the room was tastefully decorated. I loved the terrace overlooking Ravello and spent time there. My husband was thrilled that there was a washing machine and he could leave Scala with clean clothes. The room was equipped with a stove and I could make tea.
I loved how non-touristic Scala was.
The hosts provided an excellent set of videos that walked us through the process of finding the property from the main road and accessing the lockbox for the keys. Much appreciated. Further, the apartment had a clothes washer, which was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable and there was ample closet space. And the warm shower felt great after a rainy day roaming around Scala and Ravello.
The owners were amazing. They were tentative and friendly making us feel very welcome. Neither of us spoke the same language but we managed just fine.
It is incredible value for money and the pool made it all worth while. The decor is dated in some areas but in others it adds to the charm of the quaint Italian hotel.
The food was very good at both breakfast and lunch.
Balcony/terrace and view AMAZING. The photo here is from our private terrace.
Pool-area very close to out room, and VERY clean
Jacuzzi/hot tub was free to use for all the customers, and it was super clean and had amazing view.
Staff (Carla) had excellent english and she was super helpful and told us a lot tips what to do in Scala and how busses work etc
We enjoyed our days in this hotel. Alberto and his family, they are amazing and very kind people. Hotel was clean, we found everything what we needed. Interior is old style, balcony view is great. Food and service 10/10.
Free parking area was busy, but thanks to Antonio he arranged a lot at public place for 5eur/day.
The hotel was in a gorgeous location with a stunning view across to Ravello.
Antonio and his family were incredible hosts, they were so helpful and attentive. The food was amazing, from the wonderful breakfast including homemade cakes to beautiful dinners prepared by the family.
lovely hotel in a fantastic location. staff welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit and meals. room was so comfortable with an amazing terrace overlooking Ravello and the Amalfi coastline! WOW!! sadly only had one night here but would love to stay again!
Lovely place to stay. We planned to stay 2 nights in the hotel that shares the same drive but they were full for the second night fortunately for us as San Lorenzo was way nicer and more comfortable. Sorry we didn't have the two nights there.
Lovely, quiet place to stay. The beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were a good size and clean. I loved the fact there was a balcony. I was pleased that we were staying up at Scala rather than with the masses of tourists at Amalfi.
This house is located in Pontone, a very small village next to Scala. Because of this, there are almost no other tourists. The locals are nice and the location is nice and quiet. The house is quite spacious and the outside is also quite big.
Clean rooms, very nice service. Hotel owner Katya is very very helpful. Quite place, magnificent view and delicious breakfast with fascinating view. Freshly baked cakes , pies daily !
Owner also organized parking.
Very big room with a BEAUTIFUL vue on the Coast 🤩 the host was very friendly and the room was comfy. The bathroom was great as well !
Next to the hotel there is a restaurant with an incredible view as well !
The location was god and the view from the hotel and our room was amazing. Very friendly staff who helped us with everything we ask for. This stay is a memory for life.
Amazing newly renovated place. Very comfortable. Scala is beautiful, amazing views everywhere and especially if you like to be away from the busiest touristy places.
