Offering a sun terrace and views of the river, Rivers Hotel is set in Sluis, 16 km from Bruges. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The parking place is situated at a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Very nice and friendly staff. As there were not many guests they planned to close the restaurant earlier than usual, but informed us upfront to check whether we wanted to eat there or somewhere else (where they also had some recos due to now many guests in town). Good location close to the canal. You can go everywhere by foot. Very nice town with many shops and restaurants. Nicely renovated room.

Bruist, hotel in Cadzand-Bad

This small-sized and hotel is located at walking distance of 1.5 km from the beach of Cadzand and boasts views of the polders.

We had a lovely two day stay at Bruist. Cadzand in summertime is crowded, which can be enjoyable at times, at other times not so much. The location of Bruist puts you close enough to the Cadzand summervibe, but allows you to withdraw from it and relax and rest during evenings and mornings. Don’t forget to enjoy the shared dinning menu at the restaurant in those evenings. Because that’s where the true magic happens at Bruist. Locally selected and sourced, high quality ingredients are used to create surprising and very tasteful dishes. In the mornings do start with a very luxurious Bruist breakfast, the homemade chocolate spread and fruity jams are a treat. Proper coffee to go with it started our day with a smile. Owner Martin’s energy serving food and drinks is showing that they care about making your stay a pleasurable one. Well done!

Off season in January there are discount deals to be had in hotels and in shops in Cadzand-Bad. Came for long beach walks on sandy beaches in almost total privacy, dogs can roam freely and unleashed. Watch out as off season some shops and restaurants are only open from Friday-Monday.

Complex is huge and a bike is useful!

Complex is huge and a bike is useful! There are a variety of holiday rentals to suit all types of families, large or small. The grounds are well maintained and extremely beautiful. A ride on the pedal boats was enjoyable therefore seeing all the waterside properties. There is an on site supermarket but isn’t well stocked. Spar located close by within walking distance plus butcher, baker, and fishmonger. Plenty of restaurants within walking/cycling distance. Excellent beach bars all along the coast. Didn’t use the onsite swimming pool. Drank in the bar and ate at their restaurant. Prices are similar in all places nearby. Not cheap but not too expensive.

Quiet, relaxed and peaceful, Focus is on nature and self made entertainment such as walking, hiking and nature. Very little in respect to 'man-made' entertainment, but that is why I chose to go there. This small out of the way town has TWO Michelin star restaurants which tell you a great deal about it.

The trip to Cadzand-Bad from home is within the reach of travelling with a baby. Littel ones are happy with water (sea and swimming pool) and sandy shores. It's the first holliday with our first grandchild! The house was just perfect with seperate rooms and plenty bathroom facilities, two toilets...everyone enjoyed the stay. The garden was great! Gardentable and chairs were a nice extra. The possibility to keep the bikes inside an cabine was really appreciated. We went out to dine in the evening at the Roompot restaurant. The menu was O.K.! Playing tools for kids and a very friendly Koos Konijn was great! The swimming pool was kept very clean and the pool for the little ones seperated from the other one. Other positive points are: the lack of traffic, the quietness, the trees and flowers, the friendly reception and other staff. We plan to visit again in the autumn. Congratulations with this resort!

very good quality hotel. excellent adult spa area (kids can be noisy in pool but go through the secret adult area and its a nice quiet relaxing wellness area, shame there is not a small pool through there). breakfast pretty good but more outside seating would be good only about 6 tables and they could make bigger area easily. No real dinner options unless you want expensive meal in restaurant but plenty of local option. rooms very comfortable and excellent bathrooms.

Ir is a garage transformed into a little studio at the back of all restaurants and a supermarket. The view is on large bins, lots of noise and bin flavours! Not an environment to rent a garage as studio and certainly not at this hotel rate. All this should be mentioned in the advert to ensure people really know what they book!!!

All of our special requests were met by the great staff. The restaurant was excellent. The breakfasts were the best on our entire vacation - including pancakes ! The whole hotel seems new and built to block out noises from wind, rain, traffic or crowd noise.

The Breafast was cool and the hotel is well located. The parking is a bit expensive but necessary. It was not possible for us ( Covid mesure ) to try the lounge bar, but it seemed to be cosy. Will try next time.
