Decent location, with a nice resturant. The facilities are extensive, and as advertised. Very clean and spacious accomodations. We did have a translation program, however everyone spoke English very well. We originally chose this location due to it proximity to Prague, via train. It is a nice, affordable choice with a large outdoor patio. The property has a lovely wedding venue which we noticed as there was a wedding reception. With the patio and the music from the receiption, it was a bit like a free concert. We quite enjoied the experience.

The room was lovely. It was larger than we expected -- two rooms (and one had some parts of a ceiling mural from Medieval times). Both rooms had heaters, which were both needed and welcome. The beds were super comfy. A very cozy apartment for a really good price. The staff was friendly, spoke English (though we had enough Czech to communicate with them as well). The location was just off the central square, so fairly convenient to everything in the center.

It's a lovely little town, and the chateau would be great to visit in the summer - the grounds have spectacular views.
There are some excellent restaurants in the town, but be wary of the Chinese. They gave us a big bowl of rice which we didn't ask for but assumed was included in the order. I don't like rice and my husband had (I kid you not) only 3 spoonfuls of it with his meal. They charged us 90czk (nearly 4 euros) for this, and were very unhelpful when I complained.
The Bear Bar has a great selection of own-brewed beers, as well as some delicious APAs and IPAs. The burgers were good, but the chips were fab - real potatoes with skin on ;-)

Beautiful city; just walking around the main part of the city at the top of the hill around the castle was great; but then I also crossed the river to the west and walked along the other side to find one of the most peaceful nature walks ever. I hadn't really even heard of Melnik after living in Prague for years, and I'm so glad I got to see it. I'll be back!
The pension doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms are spacious, clean, new, and overall extremely pleasant! There is also locked bike storage, which makes this a great stop on the Elbe cycle lane (we cycled here from Prague after lunch). There's also a park with a view of the river, and a supermarket, both right next to the hotel.
The location of the hotel is perfect. You can reach the center of the town in several minutes on foot.
Even without additionally asking we got a room with a bathroom and a separate restroom, as well as a separate sitting room.
The breakfast was quite modest, designated for big groups of tourists but it was OK for one night stay.
The hotel is a small indian hotel with a restaurant and an old bowling hall, located in the small czech town Melnik. The whole mixture is a bit bizzar and special.. we loved it!
The restaurant is absolutely amazing! Especially for people who like indian food. A lot of vegetarian options, we loved the food!!
The feel of a boutique hotel - historicity + clean and quiet; nice decor of the room. nice shower; beautiful floor tiles in the hallway & corridor, Italian-style garden in the private yard + Location, location +++
What a pleasant surprise: air conditioning in a Czech hotel room! It was a great bonus to have an Italian restaurant connected to the property. Pizza and beer within waddling distance of the room!
Amazing location, great staff and good breakfast! Room was large and comfortable and the bike storage system is great. I highly reccommend this hotel for cyclists! Melnik is a beautiful town!
The beds were good, nice TV in the room with YouTube & Apple TV. Really nice breakfast. Very friendly and helpful English-speaking receptionist. The hotel had a room to store our bikes.

Great location close to main attractions in Melnik with only few steps to the Melnik Castle and the famous viewpoint overlooking Labe and Vltava confluence.
Wonderful breakfast. Hotel has been very flexible with us, breakfast is normally served from 8 am but they prepared it at 7 am for us (group of 13 people).
