Very nicely furnitured, cosy, clean and tidy rooms, comfy bed, quiet environment, etc. An excellent place to rest and enjoy beautiful Karlovy Vary. The restaurant is very nice, breakfast was tasty and versatile. The hotel's staff is very nice. We parked our car in Parkhaus Libusina, which is a bit far away from the hotel, but the hotel's driver was kindly driving us and our laguage up to the parking house. This was a great help, because the parkhaus is up hill and would have been much more difficult to walk and carry laguage. All in all the hotel was an excellent choice.

A chic, quiet resort, beautiful and very well maintained buildings, a high density of hotels! Although I prefer quiet and less crowded places, there were times when I would have liked to see a little more life in the resort, people in the evening on the terraces, music in the background, a little too early the silence settles!
Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) is a city with a separate spa resort area that is located in the valley of the Tepla river. There is a 'downtown' area with the colonades that is very well suited for those who don't want to exert themselves too much and come for sheer enjoyment of the spa architecture and wondering at the sight of the multi-faceted variety of spa visitors. But there exists also a 'uphill' area with marvelous villas & grand hotels with amazing views over the valley. There you will find the Russian Orthodox Church with its golden domes, which is a must-see. But in order to get there you need to 'climb' up. Visiting Karlovy Vary requires more than one day.
It was my best trip from Toronto Canada and best vacation ever including Spa massage therapy.Tge atmosphere and service staff was extremely helpful And kind.World need this kind of people like Grand hotel PUPP Karlovy Vary Has.
The town is charming but it is totally overpriced. Beware of "tourist prices" in the central promenade since we've payed 20eur for a cup of coffee+tea. There are a lot of restaurants / cafes which aim at fooling tourists who are lost in their local currency CZK. The feeling is that everybody wants to use you. Service is bad. The only exception was "La Hospoda" (tasty, professional, good quality/price). The funniest thing is that there is not a single mineral pool available in KV! No joke. Everything is closed or "under technical renovation", or just never existed. It seems that the town is just living on the their fame from the 19th century without any investment in modern spa infrastructure. So, actually, you can only drink mineral water there (for free) and book a small mineral bath in quite old and outdated "spas" / "lazne" (which are surprisingly closed in the evenings). Suggested: take a cable ride to Diana Tower hill and walk down to KV centre or go to a nice castle town called Loket and have a long walk around the river to the bridge with rocks.
been there in the off season, so it was very quiet. the town looks very traditional, vintage, well like most of Czech Republic, very nice locals, and good food. Tried the local Oplatky, waffers; both a china cup and drank water from all the springs.
I had visited Karlovy Vary about 30 years ago as a young woman and remembered it as very beautiful, Unfortunately, as with many places it has lost much of its original charm. A couple of huge ugly buildings especially the new "Thermal Spa" rises out of a centuries old beautiful resort town turning it into the beginning of Las Vegas. The Czechs unfortunately never really figured out how to make this lovely town a Mecca for Spa lovers, instead, it's a geriatric clinic with a main street consisting of over priced goods culminating at the Grand Hotel Pupp where you can find high end designer shops. Very disappointing to those who have travelled and seen better for less money.
Outstanding boutique BnB far exceeded our expectations. Ideal location with a view of Hotel Pupp (James Bond Casino Royals) right from the window. Staff was extremely welcoming and kind. Can not believe the value I would expect this to be a 4-5 Star. We’ve stayed at many 5 Star locations that were not nearly as nice. Sparkling clean! Cozy bed and large room. I will be telling friends to stay here and would definitely return. Breakfast was delicious and an added bonus. Fresh watermelon and chocolate croissant! HIGHLY recommended!
It’s a ‘castle’ in the forest with a little spa centre, what more do you need for a relaxing few days? :) We stayed there because we didn’t want the touristy craziness of Karlovy Vary and it was the best decision - close by car if you want to go for a stroll but far enough to have peace and quiet. Value for money was great. It’s classically furnished but really clean and there is a tavern with good food at the property. Spa is open until 21. Would go back again.
I like that the property had its own parking and it was very clean and rooms were spacious . It’s located in the old town and away from the noise of the new town. Our stay was wonderful and we had a relaxing stay. Breakfast was wonderful and staff were outstanding! I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. However, if you’re looking for a spa or sauna it doesn’t have those amenities but it’s close (walking distance) to the colonnades and to the city center.
Location and price are on point and great that they are part of booking's loyalty program. The triple bedroom, was spacious and cozy. With all the standard amenities you would need. I was surprisrd that you even have a safe in the room, more something i would have expected from a 4/5 star hotel. Finally, the hotel has a restaurant at the entrance with a great view, definitely a plus and good prices overall.
Karlovy Vary
The location was nice, surrounded by greenery. City center is 5-10 mins by walk. The room was very spacious, enough for 5-6 people to stay. The kitchen was well equipped with all the cutleries, beds were nicely made, bathroom was big and very clean. The hotel itself is very spacious. Clean towels and shower gel was present. There was an iron with the ironing board. Enough furnitures with a mix of wooden and sofa bed.
Karlovy Vary
The property offers excellent value for your money in comparison to other types of accommodation in Karlovy Vary. Very clean and modern, equipped with a washing maschine and everything one needs for ironing one´s clothes. One of the major advatage is the possibility to park your car free of charge. The center of the spa town is within a 5 minutes walking distance. Very fast Wi-fi.
Karlovy Vary
Lovely apartment, has everything you need to have as a base for taking in the spring waters and enjoying the restful spa town that is Karlovy Vary. Tomas (host) incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Location ideal for town centre, bus and rail stations. Private parking was close by and secure. Lidl supermarket only a 2 minute walk away as it is situated at the end of the road.
Excellent hotel in a very good location, central to everything. Approx 20 minute walk to the otherside of Karlovy Vary (where grand hotel pupp is etc ) 10 minute walk to bus terminal. Hotel room was excellent, clean and comfy. Added bonus of even having Prime and Netflix on the TV.
1. Great spa 2. Amazing bathroom, comfterable shower. 3. The hotel surrounded bya amazing lake and forest 4. Unique breakfast, with optional menu 5. Comfterable bed 6. The stuff were helpfull with nice attitude
Nice rooms and facilities. Everything was clean and comfortable. Spa area and pool were great, enough for a one or two day relaxation visit. Buffet was yummy, but would have liked more vegetarian and vegan options
Great hotel! The two spa/pool areas are really nice and we had a relaxing stay! The staff was very friendly. The room and its bathroom are modern and big.
I liked it. It had all you needed. Spacious and clean. There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which made it convenient to go to the center.

Karlovy Vary
Our host was friendly and welcoming. He provided information on Karlovy Vary and there were also maps with details of the area and surroundings in the apartment. We appreciated the parking space just in front of the house. For those without a car, the bus stop is a few steps away on the same street and there's a supermarket (Norma) just opposite the house, and many more, including LIDL, a few minutes' drive away. We stayed there at the end of October and can imagine that the garden and pool would be very enjoyable in the summer.
This hotel is top notch. The staff was wonderful and our room was beautiful with a balcony that had a lovely view. The location is a short walk to the center of town. We also loved being able to park our car at the hotel. Parking in the city is extremely limited and it was one thing we didn't have to worry about. We hope to go back to Karlovy Vary and will most certainly stay at the Savoy Westend Hotel again!
Spacious and comfortable hotel room, the spa is really cozy, and the breakfast was great.
Spacious room and a huge bathroom. Feels to be more like a 5 star hotel.
