Joan (I think that was his name?) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The building is fascinating-- you can see evidence of the hundreds-year old winery, and there are little nooks and crannies to explore. The dinner was delicious and the location was great-- our window opened out onto a little square where there was a festival for the 15th of August, and the man who sits in the nook below with the tiny dog was friendly. Parking in the lot above was relatively easy.

Lovely home in a small pueblo, nicely situated if you want to explore the area. It’s obvious that a lot of care is taken to make this a comfortable space and I really appreciate the attention to detail. And the pueblo is really cute!

On an overnight stop at hotel Class and departing next morning, so unfortunately there was no time to visit Valls itself. However we did have time in the late afternoon, to visit nearby Montblanc - which is in the guide books - a mediaeval hill top town with narrow streets and historic buildings. The scenic route over the hills was well worth the effort ( the alternative is a longer straighter route by picking up the autovia from Valls and turning off.)
As we entered the town we found the tourist Office with parking and next door was a very good Co-operative winery. Although the tourist office was closed the shop gave us a useful town map!

Beautiful town. Visited for the Calçotada festival.
Beautiful town. Visited for the Calçotada festival. Learnt that we should have arrived earlier to buy tickets for the communal dining. But were able to buy are meat from the butchers and join with the community grilling. Fantastic experience. Hotel Felix is brilliant value for money and had a fab dinner there in the evening.

We stayed at this hotel so that we could visit our son who lives nearby, we had dinner in the hotel and breakfast and it was really good. We also had dinner in some restaurants in Valls but can't remember the names.
Valls it self is a very nice town, I don't think it is a tourist area but it is worth visiting.
My wife and I will definitely be going back.
Staff super helpful and friendly. Sole use of wellness and gym area (need to book prior). Used the bikes (free of charge) and as one broke whilst out took it to bike repair shop intending to pay for the repair, as there was no hire fee. When we came back to collect bike shop owner and hotel had settled the bill. Great dinner at night. Had online class at five am and in order to not disturb partner went to sit in lobby, got given a little office.
The check-in and check-out process are very easy and fast. The bed was really big and cosy, and bedsheets were changed regularly. The location and the hotel facilities are great, it is possible to reach the beach, Tarragona and Port Aventura park within 20-30 minutes. The room was beautiful and was thoroughly cleaned every day. We also liked the garden with the swimming pool and a small restaurant.
Stopped for one night at Hotel Class to rest during a road trip. I was very happily surprised. A nice parking, the room was spacious, very clean, everything worked nicely. The breakfast room was spacious, airy and comfortable. The breakfast offered was fine, with a variety of items to suit all tastes. Good value for money
The staff were professional, helpful, and personable. They helped me select and use one of the bikes the Hotel has for free use (which was fun, but take care in the roads!). The room was well laid out and quiet. Although I did not try it the pool looked inviting. There was a kettle in the room for coffee or tea.
We liked everything, it was the best hotel during our trip. The rooms were big enough, the beds could be adjusted (kids specially liked to lift up the part where your head and/or legs are). Also there is possibility to charge electric car. It is about 20 minutes drive from the PortAventura/Ferrari Land.
