Hit Salers on a bank holiday weekend so it was very crowded...
Hit Salers on a bank holiday weekend so it was very crowded and full of bikers and hells angels. Parking v tricky so we were lucky to be staying at La Grange just on the edge of town. Salers is quite an unspoilt medieval town with shops and restaurants. We liked the welcome of the hosts, a super breakfast each morning, and touristic information given by the hosts, they were very helpfull. The space bedroom in an old characteristic house was very pleasant. The room had an old fashioned style but was comfortably furnished. Due to a mix-up we were moved down to a 1st floor room which we preferred to the smaller one ( already occupied) on the 2nd!
