There was a complete kitchen and bathroom, all extremely clean. It was also very quiet, even with the window open. The proprietor took time showing me everything and asked me to call him if there were any issues.

Spotlessly clean, room adequately heated although snowing and very cold weather
The bulding and the room were great. Food in the hotel good, staff most friendly and helpful. A nice short hop from/to Santander if the ferry's scheduled to arrive late there or leave in the morning.

We have stayed at this hotel before which speaks for itself. It is conveniently situated near the autoroute in a quiet and picturesque location. We use it as an over-night stop before boarding the Santander Ferry. Its architecture is innovative-essentially a modern hotel within a ruined convent. It has a separate well stocked bar and the principal staff are pleasant and accommodating. Although there was no A/C our ground floor room was cool and comfortable. Parking on site in the open but secluded.
This hotel is a converted Convent, what a place, the alterations have been carried out very well indeed. There is a lot of steel used, on steps and walls and in the floors. Also good use of glass. The rooms are very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. We were lucky to find this place, without Booking we never would have found it. Located in a very quiet village.
A beautiful old convent remodelled into an hotel, restaurant and cafe with large gardens set in a quiet village. Plenty of parking and a couple of charge points for EV's. In our case, a large, dog friendly room and access to the well equipped communal kitchen dining room for breakfast. There is a mainline train station opposite. Outstanding value for money.
We found it a little difficult to actually locate the hotel. Had we approached it from the other direction it would have been easier. It was a little difficult to actually find out what we had to do to check in. It was actually in an adjacent property. The evening meal we had was extremely good.
Everything. The surroundings, the old church, the hotel which has been renovated so well. The room with the shower in the ceiling and the food. The main restaurant was closed on Sunday but the “cafeteria” was excellent. The breakfast with local ingredients. The staff who were very friendly and helpful
This hotel has a fantastic feel, it's like you are staying in an archaeological ruin but with all the modern bells and whistles (except a lift). We loved it, can't fault it. Really close to A67, quiet and relaxed, would recommend.
