Loved this town.
Loved this town. Just as pretty as Mykonos town but less expensive and less crowded. Lots of locals, no cruisers. Good selection of restaurants. Very nice waterfront. The Apollo Temple was cool—easily accessible and free. Stayed here for two nights, did not venture out to the rest of the island, and could have been perfectly happy staying another 1-2 nights just exploring the town.

Great island to visit - Naxos Town has a lot of good restaurants, plus a good bag wash laundry service - the Captain's laundry. The towns of Filoti and Apeiranthos are well worth a visit. It's right next to the Princess Hotel which makes it easy to locate, with local buses stopping there, this hotel causing us no problems whatsoever, just added value with their pool and bar area. The centre of the town of Naxos can beach easily reached on foot in under 15 minutes, the ferry port is 20-25 minutes away on foot, but both can easily be reached on the half hourly bus service.

The ferry, bus station and town centre are within 5-10 minutes' walk. Management are polite and ready to offer travel advice if required.

The bus stop is less than 10 min walk. The flat is big, very nice, with a big shower and a little kitchen . We stayed for 5 days and it was a perfect base to explore the island of Naxos.
