Busy little beach town with a lot of tourists, shops and restaurants. Not your place if you are looking for quiet summer, but great place to be if you are social or with small children. Most of the tourists are from Serbia, Bulgaria and North Macedonia and in some restaurants they even speak the languages. Stavros is a very touristic place in the summer and only has very nice beaches and a touristic center with he standard touristic shops. If you prefer that it is an excellent place to go to. If you do not like crowded touristic places and prefer authentic less crowded places therer are more authentic Greek villages at the coast in the direction of Alexandroupolis. But still Stavros is a nice place to visit for maybe two days ( if you prefer quietness) and then continue along the coast. Small city but pretty nice.
Small city but pretty nice. Most of the terraces are in the centre, only few terraces on the beach - so if you want to eat local food (no fast foods) you should select a beach with own terrace. There is a central pedestrian road where you can buy a lot of things but also you can go in a walk thru the streets and you'll find also local shops pretty nice.Guest review byGeorge73Romania

The hotel's location is great, in a very calm area near the main streets of Stavros, with restaurants, taverns, bars, and more. Lovely staff (greetings to Maria :) ), tasty breakfast every day, cleaning and changing the towels. The great surprise was that each room has a personal sunbeds, an umbrella, and a chair at the Fani Beach bar. You can go at any time of the day, and your place will be waiting for you.
