The rooms were immaculate, and the common areas exuded a sense of calm and tranquility that provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the hotel's beautiful garden. It was a true oasis, a peaceful retreat where I could relax and unwind surrounded by lush greenery and colorful blooms. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or an evening stroll, the garden was a delightful addition to my stay.
The service at the Sahara Sands Hotel was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. From check-in to check-out, I felt like a valued guest, and their warmth and professionalism made my stay all the more enjoyable.

The staff was very friendly. Mustafa was a wonderful host - serious and considerate. Ismail (who drove us around the Berber village) was funny and had a look of mischief that was endearing. The facilities were great - truly a glamping experience. The camel ride, sandboarding, and ATVs were tons of fun.

You really are welcomed and made comfortable right away.
We were a family of 4, wanting to first camp one night in the desert. Then, to check in at Mohayut the next morning. I highly recommend booking with Mohayut and let them know that you'd like them to organize a camel ride and camping through them in your messages. This allows for very smooth communication!!
We arrived at 5:00pm. The kids immediately jumped in the pool and we put our valuables in a secure room in reception. At 6pm, we were picked up for camel ride and camping. Everything was planned well and communication was very clear.
(For 50$ pp): We rode camels to the desert, sand boarded, watched the sunset, then rode further to our camp. Dinner was served promptly, then music around a fire. Breakfast was at 7am the next morning and then we were driven back to the hotel and we're able to get into our room right away.
I highly recommend doing this instead of booking a camp separate from the hotel. It was such a great relaxing day at the hotel. A perfect rest between Marrakech and Fes.

We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent!
Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed!
Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice.
Avoid ..!? to short stay to avoid anything, just add few more days.

The tents are as luxury as a hotel room, super clean, super nicely decorated and right in front of the sand dunes. The food is fresh, delicious and a nice variety to the usual tajine they serve you in other places. They are the best , yes they are the best, for the 3rd time they are the best, Choose merzouga luxury magic nights!!

My boyfriend and I had the best time with Camp under stars . As we planned our 10 days in Morocco, we were debating heavily between Casablanca, Marrakech, and Fes. When we found this idea of a trip into the desert, specifically through this company, we both agreed we had to add it to our trip. All the reviews were stellar - both on their website and independently on tripadvisor - with many remarking on it being the highlight recmmiended
Escape to a mesmerizing desert retreat on the outskirts of Erg Chebbi, where awe-inspiring Saharan vistas await. Delight in the flavors of Moroccan cuisine, embark on camel excursions, and revel in starlit adventures. Your spacious family room offers serenity amid daily pampering. This hotel Riad Les Roches Merzouga isn't just a stay it's an unforgettable journey, promising new wonders with each visit.
Morocco is nice destination with its own people, the hotel is quiet new, only few steps into the sand dunes, during the winter time the views were beautiful as the weather was so clear, the rooms are cozy with hot water, air condition works so well, the dinner is super delicios as the breakfast, if you want quiet and luxury accommodation in Moroccan sahara desert this is the right place.
We stayed here for 2 nights and the room + bathroom was the biggest and most clean we had in morocco. The breakfast was perfect, pastries, moroccan bread / pancakes, eggs etc. From the Riad you can easily walk into the desert on your own or book a camel / atv / etc. Tour direct at the Riad or in Merzouga. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and we can recommend this Riad :)
the place is wonderful in the desert and Ahmed’s service is the most great service in Morocco and around the desert , they helped us to arrange all the trip in the desert included camels and 4x4 jeep back to the merzouga village .

thank you guys for all what you have done for us
Amazing staff, everything very well organized. Our highlight was the sunset from the Sahara dunes. The tents are solid, with basic bathroom/beds, (but hey we’re in a desert camp, what to expect). Food was good and the camp fire with local music a great add-on. We had an amazing desert experience, thanks to the amazing people of the Merzouga Luxury Camp!!
Our stay at camp was well worth the long drive to the desert. The camp was absolutely beautiful and Hassan was a fantastic host. The luxury tents are lovely great time. It was definitely the highlight of our trip to Morocco. Sitting by the fire and looking at the stars by the bautiful dunes was magical. We will definitely be going back to visit.
Everything was perfect. An hour camel ride into the desert and a quick stop to watch the sunset. Once at camp you are greeted with tea. Inside the tent is like a fancy hotel room. Food was great. The staff are very friendly and put on a great music show every night. I highly recommend a trip through Sahara Desert Luxury Camp.
