Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp

Hotel in Merzouga

Located in Merzouga, 4.8 miles from Merdani, Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We took the camels out to the camp. We took a break in the middle and got to take pictures and play on the dunes. Very fun. We were greeted with tea and a snack. Dinner was amazing and sooo much food. They even made a delicious vegetarian tagine for us also. The tent and beds were very comfortable. Lots of blankets and even berber cloaks and slippers. Even decent wifi and a surprisingly hot shower. The staff here are incredibly nice. Overall an unforgettable experience.

Kasbah Mohayut

Hotel in Merzouga

Kasbah Mohayut is in a peaceful setting at the foothills of the high dunes of Merzouga. It is the perfect choice to combine relaxation, authenticity and adventure. I like the staff, the property and design of it itself, the view over the dunes, the little garden, all the narrow and angled hallways.

Tassili Luxury Desert Camp

Hotel in Merzouga

Featuring a restaurant, garden and views of garden, Tassili Luxury Desert Camp is located in Merzouga, 6 miles from Ghost town. First of all the people of Tassili are without a doubt the best we’ve met in the whole country of Morocco. They are so friendly, genuine, helpful, interested and calm. We never had the feeling that we were pushed or persuaded into doing paid activities. We never felt this free and relaxed at other places we stayed in Morocco. The Tassili camp is located at the foot of orange sand dunes that lay further away from the city of Merzouga then most of the other camps. This means that you stay in a really quite and secluded area. We never heard or saw any quats or 4x4s in the dunes. We truly had the feeling that we were alone in this world. We stayed for 2 nights and this was an experience of a lifetime. We are eternally greatful to the Tassili team for making this a trip that we will never forget!!

Dihya desert camp

Hotel in Merzouga

Located in Merzouga, 6 miles from Ghost town, Dihya desert camp has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. Me and my boyfriend we had a wonderful time over there. The big point of strength of this place is that is very inside the desert far away from the other camps. Staff is very kind and always ready to serve you. We got fantastic aperitifs under the stars and a nice dining in the tent. Camel ride was fun and we get the sunrise on the top of dune which was simply perfect (as it was the sunset thereafter!). We booked 1 night here and was not enough so we staid there 2 nights and it was lovely. At the night after the dinner the staff prepared a large fire. All people around this fire singing or playing the drums. You want to get a ride with 4x4 (they can offer this too, no problem). Room were very large and clean with western bathroom and real shower with normal and hot water. This was the highlight of my Morocco tour. Just some cool guys making good food out in a beautiful secluded corner of the world... do not hesitate... this is the right choice I promise.
