Overnight Safari Desert Camp, hotel in Merzouga

Overnight Safari Desert Camp is offering accommodations in Merzouga. Each room at the 5-star hotel has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a garden and to a restaurant.

Everything was expertly put together. Mohamed is multilingual, making communication easy. 10/10 for value for the money. An extremely unique experience (spending the night in the desert, riding camels to the camp, eating delicious meals for breakfast and dinner, and experiencing the adrenaline rush of returning from the camp via 4x4 automobile). After dinner, the boys in the camp gather by the fire to sing and play traditional Berber songs. Towards the end, you can pick up a few basic rhythms and play along with them. Children won't be disappointed—the camp has a few cats and two extremely amiable dogs. The tents are cozy and well-maintained. It comes highly recommended from me!

The staff was very friendly. Mustafa was a wonderful host - serious and considerate. Ismail (who drove us around the Berber village) was funny and had a look of mischief that was endearing. The facilities were great - truly a glamping experience. The camel ride, sandboarding, and ATVs were tons of fun.

Kasbah Mohayut, hotel in Merzouga

Kasbah Mohayut is in a peaceful setting at the foothills of the high dunes of Merzouga. It is the perfect choice to combine relaxation, authenticity and adventure.

You really are welcomed and made comfortable right away. We were a family of 4, wanting to first camp one night in the desert. Then, to check in at Mohayut the next morning. I highly recommend booking with Mohayut and let them know that you'd like them to organize a camel ride and camping through them in your messages. This allows for very smooth communication!! We arrived at 5:00pm. The kids immediately jumped in the pool and we put our valuables in a secure room in reception. At 6pm, we were picked up for camel ride and camping. Everything was planned well and communication was very clear. (For 50$ pp): We rode camels to the desert, sand boarded, watched the sunset, then rode further to our camp. Dinner was served promptly, then music around a fire. Breakfast was at 7am the next morning and then we were driven back to the hotel and we're able to get into our room right away. I highly recommend doing this instead of booking a camp separate from the hotel. It was such a great relaxing day at the hotel. A perfect rest between Marrakech and Fes.

We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent! Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed! Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice. Avoid ..!? to short stay to avoid anything, just add few more days.

We really loved our stay at sahara Merzouga Sahara luxury camp. We went there by camel, lovely ride during the afternoon. We were warmly welcomed in the camp. The tents were warm due to the heating in the tent. We stayed two nights what i really recommend to fully enjoy the desert experience. We did a quad ride, booked via the camp (the quads come to the camp where you start) and sandboarding (boards available for free in the camp). Delicious food, lovely lunch spot on top of a dune. Would 100% recommend this luxury desert camp

We had an amazing time at the Amazing Luxury Camp. We took a beautiful afternoon camel ride to get there. The camp extended a warm welcome to us. The heating inside the tent kept the tents warm. To truly enjoy the desert experience, I highly recommend staying for two nights, as we did. We went sandboarding (free boards are available in the camp) and took a quad ride, which was scheduled through the camp. Good food and a beautiful lunch location atop a dune. Staying at this camp was one of the highlights of our journey in Morocco. Hassan, the manager, is an incredibly kind person, with a lot of dedication to his guests, a great sense of humor and good advices. This place is just magical, with nice trees, wonderful lights and and a very useful pool. It's probably the best desert camp you can book in Merzouga. Everything - but this to be kept in context. It is located in the Sahara desert with all that brings. Merzouga is a town of dirt roads and extreme conditions. However, the family that run the hotel are making a brilliant job of it - very friendly- nothing is too much trouble, food is excellent. I really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend.

The trip into the desert by camels was one of the best moments we had in Morocco. The luxury camp is very comfortable with all you need for a desert stay, Sunset and Sunrise with sandboarding over sand dunes it's worth it. Thanks for the evening music and tasty food!

I read a lot of reviews for the Merzouga desert camps before I chose Berber lifestyle camp. More than satisfied with the choice. The operators made sure I was able to get a camel ride to the camp when it was a little doubtful for some moments.
