Located in Merzouga, a 15-minute walk from Camel Trekking Company, Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The best experience we had in Morocco, everything was above our expectations, absolutely lovely atmosphere, welcoming stuff, amazing room and really good food. Very good communication, Iddir helped me surprise my boyfriend with a huge birthday cake and they also sang for him and did a great atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly, funny but also informative, they were open and happy to share anything we asked. The camp has many facilities and it has even a pool which is so cool. Also I don’t know how I forgot to take some sand with me home and while I was there Iddir has sent me from Sahara Desert to Marrakech a big bottle of sand, I don’t how this was possible but he made it possible and I want to say a big thank you for making possible we really appreciate it. We really recommend the Majestic Camp and we are grateful and thankful for everything.

Les Portes du Desert is located in the city of Merzouga, a saharan village at the foot of dunes l'Erg Chebbi. Its 984 ft² terrace offers a view of the dunes. Before I checked into the hotel, I was actually staying at a desert camp called Dune Merzouga Camp. The camp had a high score of 9.5 but I was underwhelmed as the staff are unprofessional. I already had a bad impression of the camp as I didn't get the pick up upon arrival at 6.30am that I requested but thankfully someone else was kind enough to take me to the camp office. I cut short my stay in the camp from 2 to 1 night because the camp is not associated with any riad/hotel and I need to be in the town center so that I can board the early morning bus to Tineghir. The owner of the camp doesn't seem to be happy that he had to transfer me to the hotel and in the car, he asked me to open up Google in my phone. He googled the name of the camp, entered Tripadvisor and asked me to submit a 5 star review on the spot! He then followed to copy some text from an existing review and he intended to paste into my booking.com feedback of the camp! Luckily he wasn't able to do it because I cut short my stay at the camp at the very last minute. The owner of the camp didn't take me all the way to the hotel but dropped me off somewhere at the town center and called the hotel to pick me up instead. The hotel pickup eventually arrived and when I checked in I was warmly welcomed by a Berber man named Hassan at reception who spoke perfect English, French and Spanish. The hotel interior is very beautiful and there are views of the dunes next to it. Near the hotel there is the National Automobile Museum that is free of charge and has an interesting and fantastic collection of 4x4s from all over the world. Lunch and dinner at the hotel were of higher quality than the ones I had in the camp even though the prices are about the same. In the next morning, I was delivered to the nearby Merzouga bus station 3km away by the owner of the hotel, Iddir. I boarded the bus right on time at 7.30am in the morning and safely arrived at my next destination, Tinghir.

Located in Merzouga, 6 miles from Ghost town, Dihya desert camp has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. We had a fabulous time in the desert. We arrived by camel to our camp site. An absolutely beautiful setting with a maximum capacity of 12 people which made it very cosy. Both dinner and breakfast were delightful. Wonderful food. After dinner there was a campfire and we heard live Berber music under the stars. Our tent was amazing. We had an enormous twin beds, and a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. It really was luxurious. In the morning we had the chance to ride the camels up to a dune and see the sunrise. It was just perfect. I highly recommend it.

I stayed in a beautiful new Boutique Hotel in Merzouga . Desert Villa MERZOUGA is an amazing propriety owned by Youssef. I highly recommend this place. They are very friendly people and the food is great. They can help you to arrange the camel right and night in a nice luxury camp
Upon arrival at Erg Chebbi, we were greeted by Barak who drove us to the camp in his Jeep, and the 30-minute journey across the sand dunes was a spectacular adventure which we didn't expect. Once we arrived at Palmyra Camp , we discovered a whole new world! Our tent was magnificent and elegant with a king size bed, hot shower and western toilet...all the comforts! We were served a multi course dinner which was outstanding, followed by evening entertainment around the campfire. We all joined in with the dancing and singing before the camp lights were switched off so we could clearly see the night sky. You get to see millions of stars and that makes you feel like you are part of a fairytale! It was as if we were on a whole different planet. I feel that this camp is very unique, not only because of their quality customer service, but also the remoteness of its location as well as the small size, with only six guest tents. We loved everything about the Palmyra Camp and would definitely go back there again!
a beautiful city near the desert with lots of activities. Beware of scammers who ask you to pay 5 times more when you arrive such as: "Desert Planet Camp Merzouga", you must ask before arriving for a balance sheet of all the charges provided, the transport between merzouga and the tents must not exceed 30euros for 5 people (round trip), the car tour in the desert must not exceed 40euro for 5 people. I recommend "Mustapha Camp Merzouga": 60 euros per night for 5 people (Dinner and breakfast included)
Merzouga it's small town with very beautiful restaurants and cafe and and shops of tradition berber clothes ... , And what is more amazing there is the nice and helpful peaple . And next of this town are the most amazing sahara desert witch you can have and excellent experience by camel or ATV quad , or 4×4. , And have beautiful sunset and sunrise , sleep in desert camp it's one of the best experience that anybody comes to merzouga can do it , I recommend ,ERG NOMAD CAMP, it's amazing camp you can really find you're self in the place that you come for , There are more activitys to do and see more things if you could have more time in this beautiful place ,

Merzouga
Everything was totally perfect. Acommodation is very comfortable and clear. People here are very nice and help you with everything. We were riding on snowboard on dunes, riding on camels in deserts, teaching playing on drums. This was really our best experience in whole Morocco. It was beautiful atmosphere in the night under the stars, when we were listening drums and dancing next to the fire and after that we could try the drums by ourselves! For moments like this I am earning money, I will NEVER forget and I hope I will come back ❤️
Merzouga
- location on the outskirts of merzouga with direct view on the dunes - Riad well designed, everything thought through and well equipped with all you need. goes without saying that it was top clean! - we got unasked an upgrade to our room - dinner & breakfast were delicious - after check-out we could stay at the pool for rest of afternoon (before we continued our trip to desert camp) - for next time/if we would have known before: Riad is also offering a desert camp - so next time we would directly book it with Riad Madu
Merzouga
Our stay at Luxury Camp Chebbi was just wonderful! You have an option of camel or SUV to get to this remote spot. It isn't a choice really, I mean how could you not take the camel?! The ride there was well over an hour by camel and we enjoyed ever minute. We saw an amazing sunset (TIP: The best sky is after the sun dips below the horizon so stick around), had a wonderful time listening to live traditional music by the fire, had a great dinner and breakfast and were rewarded with a wonderful sunrise.

Our guide during our camel ride to the desert camp was nice and prepared a great dinner for us, while we stayed in the Desert Camp overnight under the stars. The dunes were something else and we are so glad we got to experience them. Everyone here has shown us great hospitality and we can't wait to tell everyone back home on our travels in Beautiful Morocco: the amazing people, the mint tea, the abundant and pleasant sights!

It was really great and would recommend this place to everyone. The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast (and food in general) is delicious, the owner Yousef is very nice and makes you feel like at home and the place is just 3 mjnzrey walking distance from the desert. I stayed there for 3 days and if I ever return to Morocco, will definitely also return to Kasbah Des Dunes.

The hotel is beautifully furnished in maroccan style and is new. The bathroom was very clean, spacious and beautiful. The hotel is walking distance from the dunes. The host Omar has been very welcoming. He has arranged for us dinner in town as well as the trip with camels at dawn on the dunes. Breakfast was abundant and tasty, made of local products

Beautiful stay in Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi. Great hotel with delicious food. At the hotel they can arrange a lot for you. They helped us with a car and guide to tour around the Erg Chebbi. Mohammed, the receptionist, showed us around the village, the garden, and the sunset in the desert. Amazing experience!

We loved every detail about camp. Ayoub and other guys was great. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. We’ll come back again. This camp is better than all 5 star hotels. We’ll advise to everybody. Thank you very much.
The location in the dunes (and the resulting view) is excellent. The staff was helpful, and the food was good. One of the few hotels I have seen in Morocco where everything was spotlessly clean.
