My two-day stay at Dihya Desert was nothing short of delightful. Nestled beside the sand dunes, the campsite boasts a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The tents are generously spacious and furnished with all the amenities you'd expect in a hotel room, including private bathrooms and toilets. Stepping outside, you're immediately greeted by the warm sand of the desert beneath your feet. I had the pleasure of partaking in a camel ride and jeep safari, with the former at sunset being an absolute must-do. The food and tea were delicious, and the staff's exceptional warmth and helpfulness truly impressed me. A charming heart-shaped swing positioned beside the tents was a thoughtful touch. All in all, Dihya Desert is an extraordinary retreat for those seeking to relish in the desert's striking beauty

Our stay at the real camp on the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi was magnificent. A wonderful, attentive, and kind little crew that truly embraces environmental responsibility runs the camp, providing great service at all times and paying close attention to every little detail. The food was ample, flavorful, and nicely presented. Every day there are breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, unfathomable stretches of sand, and every evening there are campfires under the stars accompanied by Berber music and songs. We also had a room for us to wait before the tour start and afterwards when we came back. Booking was quick and simple and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended

We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent!
Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed!
Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice.
Avoid ..!? to short stay to avoid anything, just add few more days.

Spending a night in a Merzouga desert camp and embarking on a camel ride was the highlight of my trip to Morocco. The camp was beautifully decorated, and the traditional Berber dinner was delicious. Riding camels through the vast desert landscape allowed me to immerse myself in the rich culture and history of the region. The hospitality of the camp staff made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic desert adventure.
We stayed here for 2 nights and the room + bathroom was the biggest and most clean we had in morocco. The breakfast was perfect, pastries, moroccan bread / pancakes, eggs etc. From the Riad you can easily walk into the desert on your own or book a camel / atv / etc. Tour direct at the Riad or in Merzouga. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and we can recommend this Riad :)
We lived the desert experience that we had been searching for for a long time, and now we have achieved it.
