Well worth a trip to Atlas Film Studios . Just 1km from the Riad. Can be walked in 20 mins. Only 80 Moroccan dirhams entrance fee ( about £6.30 ) with a guide.
The Riad is tricky to find if driving .

Ouarzazate is a much quieter place than Marrakech which was just what we wanted this time around. It still has a great feeling and we felt safe walking around. We spent a week here and mixed a few days by the pool with various tour days to Ait Benhaddou, Atlas Studios, and a touring day to Zagora. You can usually negotiate prices with the same taxi driver (usually from the airport) and they’ll take you to all of these places. Make sure you confirm a price first! We ate at Les Jardin d’arome which was lovely, also Dimitri which is fair. If you want a gentle intro to Morocco, this is a great starter. We hope to return soon.

Ouarzazate is a beautiful city.
Ouarzazate is a beautiful city. The complete opposite of bustling marrakech, it's a quiet easy going city. The people were so friendly. Food and shops were easy to find. Prices were fair and not hiked up for tourists like marrakech.
My favourite place to eat was Sky Habous, great food, great staff and if you go after 6pm you see the main square start to come alive at night with music etc.
Taxis were easy to find and very cheap.
I visited Horses_riding_ouarzazate and had an amazing time discovering outside the main area on horseback. Definitely the highlight of my holiday. The guys spoke French and English.

Great city, airport close to the center, not too hot compare to Zagora and M'Hamid, you can visit historical sites, oasis across the old river and reach all the buzzing shops all by walking plenty of services not overpriced. Still close to their culture and traditions

Ouarzazate has a very different vibe to many Moroccan cities - maybe because of its heritage of hosting many visiting teams of actors and film makers - exploring downtown is great with the museum of film and the historic Kasbah, with its labyrynth of small rooms and courtyards. Out of town are the Atlas Studios, where you can take a tour of various film sets which have been used, and re-used, for many famous productions. It's also a great base to explore the wider countryside, either eastwards towards the Dades and Todra Gorges, or south towards the desert.

Ouarzazate is a wonderful stop on the way to Murzouga, however it would also be a nice destination. The surrounding desert is beautiful and there are many riads with pools and restaurants perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It was a wonderful place to visit after the frenzied and pushy atmosphere of Marrakesh.
A very traditional and beautiful hotel. This hotel was very clean and well kept. And all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. but the best thing we enjoyed about this hotel by far was the food. They had a restaurant that produced some of the best food I have ever eaten in Morocco.
I had a relaxing time in Ouarzazate and Hassan and Aziz were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is nice, it has a rooftop with a very nice view over the city, clean room. I had a nice lunch there, the guys working there shared tajine with me. Thank you!
Owner is a perfect guy, no problem at all. Safe and quiet place. You can cook with the owner, or he will prepare a dinner for you alone, if you want. The best looking hotel in Morocco which I've sleep.
Staff very friendly.
Very organized and clean Riad.
Room has everything you need.
Breakfast is varied with salty and sugar options.
Definitely the best riad of my 2 weeks Morocco trip.
