It is a very popular place for people with plenty of money, so, amazing shops and nightclubs - but mostly for window shopping! Nonetheless, it is still a beautiful place, retaining charm and character despite the multitude of visitors at this time of year.Guest review byLibbyAustralia - 10.0
Amazing place to visit and so pretty.
Amazing place to visit and so pretty. Lots and lots and lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Quite expensive but bargains to be had off the main strips. Very busy in July especially when the 2 or 3 cruise ships come in but gets quieter at night. Good base for walking and excursions around or off the island.Guest review byGeoff SchofieldAustralia - 10.0

Naxos has an authentic feel - yes there are tourists but it doesnt feel overrun, and of course the Greek people are so welcoming. Prices are good, it is a beautiful harbor and the food is great. There is a restaurant and a drink for everyone.Guest review byREGISUnited States - 4.0

I wouldn't recommend Paroikia and generally Paros to a couple or a family or to anyone who wants to relax, or is not extremely wealthy, or really young to care about anything. Everything was - not just - expensive, but overpriced. The things to do, food, drinks and beaches are mediocre. The island is fully packed with teenagers that just take space and make noise and if you want to avoid them you have to overpay for it. Many places were not giving receipts, other places were charging more and did not admit it, exploiting tourists every way possible, because the demand is huge and they don't care. Very bad service almost everywhere. Very bad food except if you pay more than 50 per person... otherwise garbage or toilet. You wanna go for instagram feed, go to Mykonos or Santorini for almost the same price. You wanna relax, go to other not popular islands or Peloponese. No reason to go to this island if you are not a teen.Guest review byCharopoulosGreece - 10.0

We’ve been to Mykonos and Santorini before, but Paros—especially Naoussa—completely won us over. It’s more affordable, less crowded, and still has an amazing vibe that rivals the more famous islands. From the vibrant nightlife to charming daily shopping in the quaint, beautiful streets, Naoussa is a perfect blend of energy and authenticity. We’re already dreaming of coming back!Guest review byAnnelie - 10.0
The hotel is a 5-minute drive from Oia.
The hotel is a 5-minute drive from Oia. We only ate out for dinner. On the first night, we had dinner in our room (they have a menu from a nearby restaurant with various types of meals). On the following two nights, we went to Meze Meze (recommended by Sofia) and on the last night we went to KooKoo. Both restaurants were very good. We went on a catamaran tour (recommended and booked by Sofia). We took the tour to watch the sunset. We visited the island with ease as we had a car. We went wine tasting (again recommended by Sofia). We visited the island's key spots—Fira, watched the sunset in Oia, visited the heart of Santorini, and visited several beaches.Guest review byAnaSanchesPortugal - 10.0

It is a great place to stay in Santorini because it is less crowded and has many nice restaurants and stores. The beach is the same as all the other beaches in Santorini with clear waters but with black pebbles.Guest review byLucia Armelin CorreaBrazil - 2.0
It’s an expensive town.
It’s an expensive town. Beach is difficult - all bars and restaurants offer ‘free sunloungers’ to customers but then you must spend at least €20pp in the restaurant- and are persistent on reminding you to spend the money. There is VERY difficult sea access all along the beach - slippery flat rock for quite a while - so getting in and out of the sea was somewhat challenging. And large waves. And it was boiling hot - not great. I wouldn’t consider returning ever!Guest review bynoname12380United Kingdom - 6.0
The island is the preferred destination for 1st year...
The island is the preferred destination for 1st year students, mainly from Ireland, from what we could tell. Not really our croud. It was a bit cheaper here for drinks and food than it was on Santorini or Mykonos, but I probably won't go back. There is not much to do on the island, and the wind was next level. We were supposed to stay here for 2 nights initially, but I am happy that we reduced it to 1 night. We visited a goat cheese farm, which was nice, but after that, we did not want to do anything in the wind, plus, there was not much else to do. The old town was very pretty, with cobble streets and little shops, but not as lively as Mykonos or Santorini at night. It felt like a Sunday. Lovely little island.Guest review byAnonymous
