The delicious breakfast provided a perfect start to our day of exploration, and the hotel graciously stored our luggage while we visited the travertine pools. The exceptional hospitality and thoughtful gestures left a lasting impression, and I wholeheartedly recommend Hal-Tur Pamukkale Hotel to fellow travellers. I look forward to the opportunity to return and experience its charm once again.

My second time staying here; same room with comfortable bed, huge shower, and plenty of hot water. The family that owns this place is so warm and welcoming and the location is prime with easy walking distance to anywhere in Pamukkale - including lower gate for climbing the travertine up to the ancient city ruins of Hieropolis. It's my favorite place beyond Istanbul and I'll always stay at Hotel Pamukkale anytime I return to the area.

It is a very beautiful and peaceful area.
It is a very beautiful and peaceful area. It's a good idea to include Pamukkale on your Turkey visit route. One day should be enough.
Note: entry to access the thermal pools is expensive but covers a very large area. Consider knowing if they have water so you don't make a trip in vain.

The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting.
The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting. The rest was a huge disappointment. We were unable to see any similarity with the tourist promotion photos. The white thermal pools with blue water can barely be seen. Cleopatra's pool is a trap for tourists. Extra payment is required.
The thermal pools are artificial, slippery and full of tourists. We have to walk barefoot on aggressive flooring.
The entrance at the bottom next to the city is a mistake. It requires you to walk up barefoot for more than 500 meters on very harsh ground for your feet.

This place is only worth visiting if you have never been there. Even so, you have to manage your expectation and forget about all the photographs about Pamukkale you saw, which is pretty much the magic of a good photographer. Most of the pool are dried and there are far too many people.
The Herapolis ruins is surprising good and well- maintained, which I would perfer to stay there longer. Our visit via the north gate is a good choice though.

I read many reviews of people complaining about lack of water or the site globally turning grey. Climate change. I was visiting mid September after months of no rain and water was enough to understand why even Cleopatra came there: Hierapolis (full) visit is amazing. I recommend people to read a bit the story of this city before visiting

You just need 1 day in Pamukkale.
You just need 1 day in Pamukkale. The best experience; wake up early and get to the South gate by 06H30, when it's not busy. Spend the first hour or so viewing the travertines and open-air ruins. There may be less water than what you see in videos. Rather than bathing the shallow, man-made travertine pools, get to the Ancient Pool by 08H00 and pay to swim there. It is an amazing experience before 08H30, when the crowds get there.
I loved the location of the property and the staff. The hotel was about 10 minutes away from the thermal pools/Hierapolis and just a short walk from the Main Street. The staff is truly what stood out, from the start we were welcomed warmly and felt extremely comfortable at the hotel. We were also able to meet the whole family (including their puppy!) that runs the hotel and again they were nothing but helpful and friendly during our stay. There has been no other place that I’ve stayed at in Turkey where the hosts are as kind.
My stay at Venus Suite Hotel was absolutely amazing! The hotel was a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and convenience. The rooms were spacious, well-decorated and equipped with all necessary amenities. The views of PAMUKKALE from the balcony were breathtaking. And the best part? The hotel staff, especially Yunus, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Very central hotel, few minutes walk to Pamukkale thermal pools and Hierapolis ruins, nice facilities, big bedroom with ar conditioner and mini bar, big bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows, very clean, beautiful swimming pool right in the middle of the property, kind staff (it's a family business) and a really amazing and complete breakfast included in the price. I do recommend a 100%!
The room is clean, quite and large and the breakfast is very healthy and variety. If you need lunch and dinner, the hotel’s restaurant is very nice and extremely value for money. The service cannot be better - there is a free shuttle to Pamukkale South Gate and hotel can also help book for spa, massage and paragliding etc.. I will recommend Venus Hotel to every my friend.
-super friendly family run business
-the breakfast was probably the best we have had in Turkey so far; homemade with love and care. Especially, their menemen was so good.
-Pool was being cleaned when we arrived; they take care of the facilities and it really shows
-thermal pool was relaxing and fun to try
-they were understanding and let us check out later than usual
Very close to the Pamakkule cotton castle parking area and neat and clean hotel. The staff is exceptional and they will make sure you enjoy your time there. Breakfast was to die for - more than 20+ dishes and it was served with so much warmth and love by charming Mr. Mel and Nefarat - it filled our hearts with so much love for Turkey. We were lucky to stay here.
Room is very big and clean. Located near Pamukkale. There are restaurants, glossary stores and exchange office in walking distance. I asked options how to enjoy during my stay (3 days) and hotel staff arranged hot air balloon ride and trips to white Salda lake and cave with very reasonable price. I think cheaper than any other offers available in internet.
The hotel is 2 minutes far (by walk) from Pamukkale thermal baths. The staff has been incredibly kind and available to meet our needs and beyond. They prepared for us a great turkish breakfast even if it was outside the breakfast scheduled time (were overslept). The facility has also private parking spots, which are essential if you come by car.
We liked the spa and its personnel. Breakfast and dinner were good. And the thermal outdoor pool with red water was nice. Our kids liked the restaurant, the games corner, especially the air hockey. And the music bar with those disco lights ))
Hotel's territory is beautiful. Good that the hotel is close to Pamukkale.
Hospitable staff, the professional and enthusiastic chef’s breakfast is delicate and yummy.
We travelled in Turkey in this sultry summer and this hotel was the only one we stayed that had screen window to prevent mosquitoes
Weird thing is, even 3 or 4 star hotels in Turkey we stayed don’t have screen windows.
They were incredibly friendly and very helpful. They were also the first place in Turkey to help us upstairs with our bags. After almost a month of traveling and a long day of driving to get there, it was oh so appreciated. Of course the views are quite amazing as well as proximity to the pools.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, nice breakfast, quiet area, perfect location within walking distance to Pamukkale. In the morning you csn watch the baloons passing by, There is a nice pool open until late. Food in the local restaurant is much cheaper than anywhere else in Turkey and very tasty.
Large older hotel with excellent breakfast and dinner. The hotel has a very nice outdoor and indoor thermal pool, which is open until 11 pm, which is a big plus. The hotel has a large secure car park and the staff is very friendly. I recommend this hotel if you are going to Pamukkale.
Fantastic! Well equipped rooms, with great shower and strong wi-fi (definitely not a given in Turkey). Beautiful pool, and an excellent breakfast. Very close to walk to the pedestrian entrance to the Pamukkale travertines. Great value, and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks!
Venus was a great place to stay in Pamukkale. The rooms were excellent. We had dinner outside around the pool which was lovely. Breakfast was probably the best we had anywhere in Turkey. The manager organised a mini bus for us to get to our next town. Nothing was too much trouble.
Hotel located on a short drive from Pamukkale and features amazing facilities including a thermal pool, swimming pool and sauna/ jacuzzi. Room was quite spacious and clean, with a bed, sofa and thermal mixture tap. Breakfast was quite acceptable with many options
The staff were so friendly, helped us with our bags. Breakfast was nice, room was nice, shower had the best water pressure I’ve ever had in over 20 years of coming to Turkey. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Pamukkale!
It was comfortable, clean, tidy. Good value for money. A normal breakfast, you will definitely not be hungry.
Great place to stay when traveling by car in Turkey, Pamukkale!
