We needed to make several trips to the area for medical care...
We needed to make several trips to the area for medical care over the last 6 months. Of the different hotels we had to use during this time the Hampton was the best of the lot. The staff was professional but friendly, rooms were clean (which was NOT the case in some of the other hotels), the breakfast area was clean & the food hot, as was the coffee. It also appeared as if management spent time, effort, & money on upkeep (the carpet in the hallway was clean, the chairs & tables in the lounge area had been dusted, and the parking lot well lit). I loved everything in the surrounding area. The hotel we stayed at “Best Western Greenfield Inn” was fantastic and was super cool. We loved the e commute to Ford Field being easy. Adequate but disappointing.
Adequate but disappointing. No hot tub, room facilities are poorly designed (shower stall is nice but doesn't keep the spray inside, making the smooth tile floor a slip hazard, sink faucet is the worst ever). Small things like the coffee cups and plastic-ware are the cheapest possible! Logging onto internet would not work using sign in info and there is no one available to help. We spent 3 days at Greenfield Village and just barely got through everything starting at 9:30 every morning and laving at 5:30 every day. it was a wonderful experience. The free breakfast is one of the best I've ever seen. Friendly staff that greet you and speak to you. Super comfy bed and pillows. Nice big walk in shower with dove shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion. Indoor pool. Really I couldn't have asked for anything more. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I watched the Allen Park Motor Lodge being built in the late 50's and many of us kinds from the neighborhood swam in the pool the the first season. When I am in town I stay at the Allen Park Motor Lodge because it is like coming home.
