I think that I should get some discount for the breakfast that was advertised but not available. I even went in and tried to book the same hotel just to be sure that breakfast was included in the booking price. The person at the desk was very helpful. Not sure why but I had to have my key card reprogrammed everyday. Considering those way very few choices in the area I was okay with this stay. I could have paid the Additional 200.00 and stayed at the Holiday Inn just down the road. Would I been happier who knows but I would have been poorer for my short stay.

The amount of amenaties along with how plentiful the breakfast was. They accomodated us for pretty much everything, the only negatives were that the pool and gym was closed due to mechanical issues but that was never stated on the website :(. I would also like to appreciate melissa as much as possible she saved us in more ways than she could imagine.

The elk Grove econo Lodge is a really nice location and very convenient access to Major stores and conveniences however the owner of the property is a very rude disrespectful and should in no way have an opportunity to own a facility like this one is a compulsive liar and doesn't pay his bills when asked for the money and he owed he said he'll think about it that he refused to pay I plan on seeing him and it starts with having to see econo Lodge

We were in Oak Grove for a funeral and to reconnect with "local" family members. The Waffle House was good for breakfast and PT's has an incredible pork tenderloin sandwich. Tripp Country Club Car Wash on South Broadway impressed me. It was much easier to "clean" my vehicle than the "lower pressure", "cold water" car washes at home. It's a small thing but I do like a clean vehicle.

The way to the motel was round-about and directions were iffy, but we made it. There are some crazy roads in town and getting onto the interstate was interesting. From the McDonald's where we ate breakfast, the interstate entrance was missed the first time and we had to turn around because it wasn't clearly marked. The streets are interesting as they are twisty and lots of different entrances and exits from said streets that are hidden until one is directly on top of them.

You will not be disappointed in this hotel.
You will not be disappointed in this hotel. It has the quality of a much richer venue. I have stayed in 4 star hotels not as good as this one. I was almost shocked at the quality and quantity of food at breakfast. Did I say it was "free"? The halls, foyer, lobby, and grounds were immaculate. I could find little to nothing to dislike. The water was a little too "soft" for out likings, but if that is all we can complain about, then we am doing well.

The lobby reeked of pot; the manager's clothes were dirty and his nails were filthy. The halls smelled of urine, the lighting was dim and doors and walls were marked up and damaged. The handles and door plates had crud on them. The manager had to body slam the door to my room to get it open. I was approached asking "how much I charge." I overall felt very unsafe. The outside looked like skid row. There is no way this should have 3 stars...someone obviously has paid for that rating.
