The room was clean, and the security protocol made me feel safe. I especially liked the breakfast buffet. It featured egg white fritattas, which were good! We also had issues with our door mechanism, but the staff was able to get it fixed.

Dogs barking on my hall. Construction for 5 hours in the room next to me at night when I and others were trying to sleep. The computers in business center did not work and the one and only person working the front desk did not know How to use them.

Our room A/c was not working properly so they asked us if we wanted to move rooms. We were already settled in our room so I asked if they had a box fan. They brought one up right away and we were very comfortable after that.

    It's a wonderful city, even just driving through. I stay overnight on my way back to my hometown in ND. The hotels are great as most are pet friendly for a fee. The downtown area is a nice place to walk. It's a great place to just unwind.

    Liked the hotel and ease of arrival to and departure from and to Omaha. Liked Kaufman, and the Jazz & Negro Leagues Museums. Ate well in that area also. Relatively (for a medium/large city) simple travel around.

    We loved our short visit to the city.

    We loved our short visit to the city. Started our day with antiquing in the West Bottoms area of the city and enjoyed food from a couple of the food trucks while we were down there (there are a few very good restaurants in the area as well). After checking into the Marriot downtown (the one draw back of our weekend) we took a stroll around the Power and Light District before jumping back into the car to head down to the Plaza District for dinner (can't wait for the completion of the streetcar extension from downtown to the Plaza. After dinner at Cooper's Hawk, we walked around the Plaza and shopped in the few shops that were open after 7:00 on a Saturday.

    Very disappointed with the facility, the staff knew about bedbug problem and did not inform guest. Staff was well aware of issue and decided some rooms were cleaner than others, who does that, without getting problem fixed before guest have to discover issue. Carpet was filthy, not sure when the last time it was shampooed. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!

    KC is pretty cool.

    KC is pretty cool. Lots of entertainment options from concert venues to museums, bars and restaurants not to mention all the sports options. I was there twice in the last few months to go to concerts and visited the Federal Reserve Money Museum on one of the trips. Driving around downtown is a little tricky with all the road construction going on but it's not too bad, there are street cars and plenty of public transportation however. Lot's of people walking around downtown for a Thursday night! Some nice parks in the city as well. Not really a destination city but worth checking out if your passing through.
