In a nutshell, Conegliano is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, historical charm, culinary delights, and warm hospitality. It's a place where I can unwind, immerse myself in the local culture, and create unforgettable memories. I can't wait to return to this enchanting town and experience its wonders once again.
I would recommend ALWAYS having cash with you and buying bus tickets from the TABACCHI, paying on the bus is 4 euros for the normal bus ride, and getting the same ticket from TABACCHI is 2 euros, maybe somewhere even less. They don't accept card payments.

the scenery was out of this world - and if you like being surrounded by grapevines and green mountains and peace and quiet - this is it - and we enjoyed every minute of it. You do have to make your own breakfast or go into town - which is going down the hill through the grapevines, but it is worth it - or you can bring whatever is necessary and make your own - there is a kitchen that came with the room. But, believe me when I say that the setting is out of this world...........

Conegliano is perfectly placed for touring the Prosecco fields, the mountains, Treviso and Venice. The sandy beaches of Lignano and Caorle are only about an hour away by car, and the town is also well-connected by rail, so you can even spend a day in Trieste.
The old town and art gallery in the centre of Conegliano are must-do visits, as is the old castle. Local food is exquisite, with regional differences from mountain to plain and in cities such as Venice, so lots of variety to be had.
Not too touristy, so a very authentic Italian experience with fiestas and festivals dotted throughout the year.

Conegliano is a lovely historic town with great access by train (about an hour) to the mountains in the north and Venice in the south. We had a great time visiting the town, listening to live music... June seems the month for weekly concerts, eating very tasty food and of course drinking spritz and Prosecco in the town square! We found people there very friendly and welcoming... we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.!

A visit to the castle is a must if only for the views.
A visit to the castle is a must if only for the views. There is also an excellent restaurant there where you get the same view and at night it is magical when the villages light up.
The town is a good starting point for the prosecco route up into the mountains.
The hotel is located in the old villa, Directly in the wineyard. rooms have wooden floors and massive wooden bars on the ceiling. Great mattress and comfortable bed 🙏 Shower has a hammam option and it is amazing, because after a long working day and driving it is perfect. As well as the opportunity to chill in the loan in one of the comfortable chaise lounges 🥰
Great friendly staff, is treating you with the welcoming glass of prosecco.
A good sized 2 bedroom apartment app 3 miles from Conegliano. We were attending a wedding in the area so the location was fine for us. The hosts were very kind, the provided breakfast items on out arrival and a bottle of prosecco when we left. They even gave us some fruit from their garden. There was aircon which covered the bedrooms and hallway which was helpful as it was very hot during our stay (35 Celsius)
This is a family owned hotel. The owners were extremely kind, helpful and ready to accommodate any reasonable requests guests may have. The hotel is extremely clean, quite, offers a good breakfast and is centrally located. I really enjoyed my stay at Cima and recommends this hotel if you stay in the area. The rail station is easy accessible and it is very close to the downtown.
The breakfast was typical, but good! The pool area was spacious and clean. The room was big, clean, and had plenty of storage. The hotel overall was great! The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. We appreciated that the front desk was able to call and make a reservation at a restaurant for us.
Good location of the apartment if you are going to visit Prosecco wineries and visit Conegliano castle. The apartment was on the older side, but some of the rooms (bathroom and kitchen) were renovated. The bedrooms and beds were alright. The kitchen is a bit small for 4 people, but doable.
Staff at the hotel was TOP NOTCH! They were beyond helpful with recommendations, travel assistance & holding bags. The taxis were not running, so they even helped me get to the train station with my bags. The shower was superb. Water pressure was phenomenal!Incredible experience!
I stayed second time in this hotel. Perfect place. with excellent restaurant. They have a nice garden with swimmingpool and bar. Breakfast can be taken on the terras in summer. SPectacular overview over the valley.
Staff at the hotel were fantastic! They were very helpful, polite and friendly. The hotel was very clean. Room was basic but great value for money. Great for our overnight stop on route to Greece
The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. The ladies taking care of us were very attentive and kind. Breakfast was excellent, simple yet elegant with outstanding service.
I think the location is great as it's very close to the train station and Conegliano centre.
The flat is reasonable for the price, therefore clean and comfortable enough.
