Beaulieu is at the exact centre of the "French Riviera" .
Beaulieu is at the exact centre of the "French Riviera" . It is flat and with a very good Bus and train service. We lived and worked nearb, and return regularly to see friends, Unfortunatly our normal choice of apartment was not available, but we knew of Les Oliviers, but not this disgusting apartment on the second floor.

You must understand first that my wife and I are retired. So we are looking for rest, relaxation, mental stimulation, sun, interesting things to see and do, good food, but on a limited budget.
We enjoy Beaulieu because much of what we are seeking while on holiday is available within walking distance in Beaulieu.
And the train service along the coast as far as Italy going east and beyond Cannes heading west provides easy accessibility to a wide variety of additional options when one tires of the beach and local amenities and wishes to stretch our physical and mental experiences a little further. For us, Beaulieu offers the ideal holiday location, a sophisticated French atmosphere, in a laid back casual untrendy town (or village?), where time seems slower, the sun seems warmer, the sea seems more inviting and the local food (and wine) stimulate our slightly jaded palates. No wonder we return!

It's pretty, clean and safe and was easy to get to from the train station in Nice via Taxi. Our hotel was so wonderful (La Reserve) we spent most of our time at the heated pool and restaurants there at our hotel.

A good place for exploring along the length of the coast using excellent public transport - trains and busses. There is not need to have a car. It is possible to visit from Vingtimillie, Menton, Monaco then to St. Jean Cap Ferrat, Villefranche, Nice as far as Cannes all within no more than an hour.

Lovely walk down to the Port from our hotel for Dinner in lovely surroundings. African Queen was delicious for dinner. We didn’t go too expensive when choosing our meals but what we had was good. busy place and great atmosphere.
Walked to restaurant beside Casino with our Uncle for a Dam Blanche ice cream. Delicious. Walking around the town felt very safe. Friendly people who understood our pigeon French.
Had dinner in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat the following night after spending the day hopping on and off the train to Juan les Pin and Cannes.
Lovely trip to visit family and we will be back.

Stayed (again) in one of the Residence apartments over Christmas 21/22 for two weeks, very pleased, great apartment that is well appointed, very comfortable, dog friendly, neat and functional kitchen, nice bathroom, daily cleaning, the addition of a TV in the bedroom was a nice upgrade, and of course BSM is a great destination close to many local restaurants, bars, shops and two beeches. Unfortunately, the Hotel itself was closed over Christmas (Covid) but the service level was still optimum, first class staff, highly recommended.
After finding this wonderful boutique hotel that was tucked away in a residential neighborhood, our car was promptly directed to a very suitable garage area where it remained for our stay at an extremely reasonable rate. This was a jewel that surprised us. Very pleasant surroundings, a fantastic breakfast, and a wonderful room that had a super comfy bed and a great, helpful staff. Good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing were the norm. Being in Beaulieu-sur-mer was super in and of itself.
We had a very comfortable stay here. This apartment is located 1 minute from the train station. We took a train from Nice airport to Beaulieu-sur-Mer.( it’s took about 20 minutes, 3.5 euros per person)
We had trouble opening the code box. But it turned out well.
This house is near the railroad tracks so it gets noisy sometimes, but we never cared about it.
There is a bus stop just across the street The bus bound for Nice you can take #15(but please make sure your destination!!)
You can immediately tell that this is a family/privately run hotel.
The staff is friendly but not invasive. That delicate line between welcoming but professional. That's a plus that you don't get in bigger luxury chain hotels. The breakfast was amazing, and the evening with live piano very enjoyable. Perfect for a one or 2 night while driving along the French coast.
Spacious, renovated room with a balcony in the center of Beaulieu-sur-mer. Kitchenette was very helpful, parking on-site (10 euro) and morning breakfast (12 euro). Easy check-in, quiet location, 5 min walk to the beach. On a bus and train route to Nice and Eze village. We loved our stay and would like to come back.
Paid to upgrade from quite dark room on the side of the hotel which only had views of the next door apartments.
New room was bright with views and two balconies but which we had to pay an extra 200 Euros. Receptionist Rita was extremely helpful and went way beyond her job description.
Le Corot is beautifully, comfortably, thoughtfully furnished. Stayed two weeks and loved it! Super convenient location—within a 5 minute walk to restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, groceries, bus, and train plus beaches and wonderful coastal trails that connect to neighboring villages.
Friendly, welcoming staff.
Good location, close to the train station, restaurants and scenic views of the water
Good breakfast option included.
Bed was comfortable, rooms was pretty decent sized and warm.
The bathroom was spacious and clean with toiletries included.
The hotel is located in a great location. It is a 5 min walk to the beach and 5-10 min walk to the train station. The staff was very friendly and informative. Overall we had a very nice stay.
The hotel was very clean and the bedrooms had all we needed. It was good value for money for the area. Madame was very nice to us and nothing was too much trouble.
