The room was fine, nothing special but clean and satisfactory. Reception was friendly and efficient. The bathroom is poky, not ventilated and unattractive. Toilet is in a small separate room. Parking was readily available. The restaurant was less appealing. I did not stop for breakfast, influenced by the previous night's dinner experience.

The hotel has very traditional rooms particularly the room with an amazing collection of different cognacs. Then there is the art and design in the bedrooms and corridors and even on the outside. See two photos. Much of the art is quirky with a sense of humor. Also there was good communication from the hotel and the staff facilitated a booking of a restaurant in town which we enjoyed.EamonnIreland
