The staff was AMAZING Especially Renaldo who checked us in. He was very attentive gave us a room facing the ocean. Helped us with a taxi. And did everything with a smile. We also were checked in early which was great! Breakfast was also very good.

The Stones Throw Away is a great hotel for arriving in Nassau and connecting to a flight the next day to another island in the Bahamas. It's a quick cab ride from the airport, there's a nice pool and the rooms are very comfortable. The veranda is a beautiful place to enjoy a cocktail or breakfast - which we unfortunately didn't have since we had an early flight in the morning.
Escape the ordinary at Graycliff Hotel and Restaurant, Nassau's landmark mansion.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful! The restaurant is fantastic and the wine cellar is amazing. It is the perfect experience for a romantic, grown-up vacation (away from the busyness of families with kids at the resorts you'll find in Nassau). They have live music in the lounge every night and offer lots of experiences (cigar rolling, wine tasting, yoga) and the pool/garden area is one of a kind! Absolutely gorgepus , quiet and private! It was definitely pricey, but worth every dollar for the kind of experience one can create if traveling solo or with your significant other.

Ate breakfast one time. Other days we had breakfast in the room. Breakfast in restaurant was good, but like everything else in Nassau - too expensive.

Location is fine, if one doesn't mind some walking. Half an hour to the town center, fifteen minutes to the Fish Fry restaurants. Room size was fine (but just one bedlamp for two beds). Shower functioned well. Free drinks (Rum Punch) between 6-9pm around the swimming-pool (which we never used). Only breakfast is provided (which we never had), but no lunch and dinner. Price is reasonable for the Bahamas.

A cruise ship terminal where everyone is smiling but constantly trying to rip you off. At day full of the worst type of cruise ship passengers. Staff bubbly bubbly but entirely insincere. Tacky, horrid, poor levels of service. Taxis have no meters and will not quote in advance.
If you like casino hotel complexes - knock yourself out. You will be overcharge and under serviced. Visited both, both horrid experiences.
Saving graces
- Uko Sushi Bar
- Greycliffe Restaurant
- Day trip to Staniel Cay was stunning. Highly recommended.
Other than those there is NO reason to visit Nassau unless sent by work.

Entering Nassau is like entering the local food chain.
Entering Nassau is like entering the local food chain. I don't really like the hustle of the fish fry but I do enjoy the food! I have always found Bahamians very friendly. It is a nice place to visit. Some things can seem a little run down but you have to remember that the hurricanes beat up buildings and make it hard to maintain them.

We were able to go into downtown Nassau and enjoyed spending time exploring. We did a little shopping and ate lunch at a charming restaurant called the Manila Grill. We did use a taxi to go downtown and back to Paradise Island. You must have the Conch fritters with in the Bahamas. Everyone was very polite and it was a wonderful experience.

Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The island is beautiful, and many attractions are within walking distance of each other. We enjoyed each restaurant at which we ate and the portions were very generous. There are both lively and more quiet areas so there is something for everyone.

The room was fine. The bed was comfortable. The wifi was terrible and only worked about half the time. If anyone reads these reviews I think I should be refunded the price if the wifi or at least be given a credit for the future
I was pleasantly surprised. I only needed a cheap hotel near the airport for one night. This place was much better than I expected. The staff was very friendly. The room was big and had a large kitchenette, a small patio with table and chairs, and the ac worked fine. They had a fun happy hour by the pool with free drinks. We chatted with the staff and other guests. Big free breakfast with cereal, waffles, bacon and eggs and coffee and several juices. I could have stayed longer.
The hotel is in the heart of Nassau, walking distance to shops, beach and restaurants.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
I stayed there for 3 weeks, they helped with everything needed.
Rooms were cleaned every day and every room had balkony.
I highly recomend this Towne Hotel, and get to know the Owner! He have alot of good information about Bahamas!!
Thank you all for a nice stay!
The staff was wonderful and bent over backwards to help us all they could. We had terrible flight supposedly into Eleuthera but it got cancelled so we took a flight to Nassau and then the Fast Ferry into Spanish Wells the next day. This hotel was perfect for what we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you wanted a location that was in the center of the city near everything.
I was in an efficiency unit with two gas burners and a small refrigerator and microwave with utensils and dishes. There is a large grocery store within a 15 minute walk and this setup saved signifincantly on food expenses. Food is very expensive in Nassau and this contributes to high expenses in restaurants.
There is a major sandy beach (Sandyport) with easy access from the resort.
Really loved the location and it felt very homely. 3 swimming pool options, but the property was in walking distance to the beautiful Cabbage Beach. The price very was reasonable compared to the larger all inclusive resorts nearby and definitely worth it if you’re only there for a few days. The apartments were spacious, we had a great living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom!
Very friendly staff. The swimming pool was nice and there is a small bar with some (pricey) drinks. The a la carte breakfast was also very good but also slightly pricey. But then again, New Providence is crazy expensive anyways because of all the cruiseships and resorts with many tourists. There are very nice bars/grills nearby called Da Plantation & Sunset Beach Club.
We stayed at the condo associated with Margaritaville, One Habour. The grounds itself was beautiful, clean, and the people were friendly. There is a license to chill for $45 a day per person If you do not opt in for all inclusive. I would recommend that since you can get unlimitrd sodas, water, beer, drinks, snacks and breakfast.
The location of the hotel is brilliant but like most big resorts it needs a lot of improvement. Mostly with the staff. Some are just plain rude and either shouldn’t be there or need retraining in the art of hospitality!
You can use the Atlantis facilities without paying a hefty amount for a room that you’re hardly in, if you stayed at the actual Atlantis resort. Also, it was nice that the hotel offered free covid test before traveling.
Orange Hill is in a beautiful location overlooking a stunning beach and is set in very pretty grounds. The family who run the hotel provide excellent service as do the other staff. Nothing is too much trouble.
It's location in downtown Nassau is its best quality. However this also has its downside as it's very noisy.
It's right across the street from Junkanoo Beach with all of the little food huts which is great!
Good location for visiting Nassau! Close to the beach, grocery store and a few restaurants. William (the owner) available to answer your questions and in case of problems.
Would recommend.
Close to the airport - perfect for an overnight connection stay over. Not fancy but best value in Nassau. Free airport shuttles. Micah - the owner is all about service and convenience.
