They had amazing tours for a reasonable price and they were super helpful at the front desk booking taxis, etc. Our grab cancelled 5 minutes before pickup and she got us a taxi within 30 minutes to drive us all the way to Krabi.

We are family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids, and booked 1 night. This place is like a oasis of relaxation and shortly after arrival we realized that we wished to stay more. It has just 5 bungalows and it was fully booked. Our bungalow was a family one (2 rooms) with separate entrances but connected through its own balcony. Very clean, nice touches, beautiful views, shaded pathways, small pool to relax, 5 minutes walking from a elephant sanctuary and a mini market.
This seems like a small establishment, but Mr Bao, the owner, goes above and beyond and it is one of the most simple and honest person we met in Thailand. Besides the breakfast option, he has also a small menu for lunch and dinner with reasonable prices for food and drinks if you do not want to leave the place. He also offered free rides and pick up to the close village where you can enjoy many restaurants, massages or other activities. Upon our arrival he helped us right the way to book 2 days/1 night tour on the lake for the 2nd day. Highly recommended tour. We will never forget the experience. Basic bungalow on the water, ours had bathroom also.
After finishing the tour, he found us a driver to take us to the Donsak Pier to take ferry to Koh Samui. The driver was kind, professional, helpful with things we needed. Nice clean car. We felt safe all the way.
Thailand has a lot of places and tours to offer, but very often is hard to differentiate the quality of services for the price. Highly recommend Mr's Bao place and his services.

This place seems to have become quite touristic.
This place seems to have become quite touristic. The one day tour is a sham. Long time traveling with some quick stops to take a quick picture. The cave is just walking in line to see a few bats. The jungle tour is just a hike though the jungle up a creek. All the animals have left here as probably 1000 people crush this path every day. I guess if you want to see some raw nature you have to hire a private guide for more days and go deeper and wait until all the day trippers have left.

A lovely spot, staff was excellent. Meals were very reasonable and VERY fresh ingredients, lots of options. Lots of sitting areas, a pool and a “sky walk” constructed outside the main entrance for guests.

The one day lake tour at the national park was amazing.
The one day lake tour at the national park was amazing. Going with a boat to go lunch, swim and walk. The walk was great. You have to wear closed shoes because you are going to get really wet until your belly button. The town khao sok was not much. It was 1 street. But it was cozy. The khao sok homestay resort is a place I would not recommend. It was also very far from the town

Khao Sok is a beautiful national park with lush rainforest,...
Khao Sok is a beautiful national park with lush rainforest, towering limestone formations seen nearby rivers and at Cheow Lan lake and a variety of wildlife. It is a stunning place to visit with lots of nature and activities to do - we went canoeing along a river for a couple of hours and spotted birds, tree frogs, giant lizards and bee hives up on the limestone mountains. Cheow Lan lake is a must - we planned a day trip with Khao Sok private tours, and really enjoyed the longboat ride exploring the lake spotting monkeys and elephants on the shore. We hiked in the jungle and saw many birds and lizards and heard gibbons up in the trees. Swimming in the lake was such a memorable experience in this beautiful and peaceful setting - like soaking in a warm bath! The mekong catfish in the lake (and there are many!) don't come near you when you swim. We stopped off at Panvaree and got to kayak too, which was great fun. The lunch there was outstanding and you can enjoy a quiet meal with beautiful views from the balcony.

We had a wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly, rooms were nice and clean. We loved the garden. Staff helped us book 2 different tours which was nice to do it from the premises. One tour got canceled due to elephants with babies walking in the national park on the roads. This was something that was unforeseen and of course no one’s fault. Owners were very considerate about this and returned our money without questions asked. Helped us look into alternatives. Would highly recommend staying here when in Khao Sok.
Not much to do here, the "town" is a jumping off point for visiting Khao sok np. On checking in they give you a warning about the monkeys (they will come in the room if the sliding door isn't locked) 😆 Wonderful being by the river, and in the morning and evening we enjoyed watching the monkeys! We stayed in two different rooms, the mountain view definitely got cooler, the river view the AC struggled a bit in the afternoon. (But the river view had more monkey watching and a better view!!)
We stayed two nights. The first night was very exciting as the bungalows are in the jungle, so you can hear all the jungle sounds. In general the whole camp is very nice. The location was fine - around 10 min walk to the main Khao sok village street. We organized tours at the hotel which were great. The staff was also nice and helpful. They also let us use the facilities the day after we checked out and came back from our overnight tour.
Two of the best days in Thailand so far! Perfect place to stay in Khao Sok! Comfortable, cozy tree houses with beautiful surroundings that make you feel like in at home in the jungle. Owners are super nice and friendly and provided transfers from and to the airport and great tours and were really helpful the way! Also, good breakfast and close to so many good restaurants. Definitely recommend for a stay in this astonishing natural park!
The tree top hotel is the closest to the National Park entrance and it's walking route for jungle treks. It's situated next to the river and most rooms have a great view. There's a refreshing pool and helpful staff. Khao Sok isn't that big, with Tree top river hotel you are at the end of the main street filled with restaurants/bars.
At some point some monkeys came passing by through the resort, a fun experience.
A magical stay in the middle of khao sok. If you love being in the nature and still enjoy a bit of luxury in the mids of the jungle, this is the place to be. The tents were very clean and well equipped with the most amazing views of nature.
Our host Nod was super kind and helpful with all of our requests and made us feel well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Khao sok.
Great location for Khao Sok National Park & plenty of shops/bars/restaurants nearby too. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, assisting us to book various tours during our stay. The room and breakfast were both “no frills” per se, but this is what we were expecting given the cost & it still definitely represented excellent value for money. Would stay again and recommend to others.
This place is really unique. They are in the process of expanding the reception area and what looks like a large deck. Unfortunately the water feature wasn't running while we were here. As with most of the hotels we've stayed at in Thailand, this one has a lot of wear showing but I still really enjoyed my stay and the staff were so, so friendly and helpful booking excursions for us.
nice friendly people & we could easily book an extra night. Also they can book nice tours for you if you want: the night at the lake tour was amazing! Also the night tour at Khao Sok National Park was fun. We saw a python, several spiders, a flying frog and more. There is a good vibe at the accomodation & also there are a lot of restaurants & places to get a massage in the street.
Superb hotel in an idyllic setting.
The staff were so helpful with everything and we would definitely return if coming back.
It’s a little out of town, but we liked that, and we hired a scooter to explore and go into town.
I also thoroughly recommend the overnight stay on the lake excursion. It was out of this world.
Room was exactly as in the pictures, with the nice view and clean. The host was great one of the best I’ve encountered in Thailand (spoke very good english as well) had an excelent restaurant downstairs and helped us with booking a boat tour in the national park, as well as a taxi from Khao Sok to the airport.
We had a perfect one night stay on our way to Khao Sok National Park. The grounds are beautiful, and it was so lovely to wake up in the morning with our view overlooking the river and jungle sounds. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Glad we stayed here instead of Surat Thani.
The owner was so kind and knowledgeable about all of the tours in the area! We booked a really fun night safari through the hostel, as well as an overnight on the lake.
Our room was also comfortable and clean.
We had a very relax and calm stay at the Top Hill Resort. We loved the tent and the facilities. Also the staff is amazingly friendly.
The area are beautiful and the Khao Sok Natural Park is amazingly beautiful.
I am happy to choose this hotel. We are traveling with three children. Famly time bungalow perfect spends time in Khao Sok Park. The location is beautiful, the resort itself is in nature and has lovely decor.
beautiful spot, really close to the national park (which was the reason we were there). we did a tour through the hotel to see the Khao Sok Cheow Lan Lake and enter the Coral Cave and it was excellent.
This is a great choice to stay around Khao Sok. They arrange tours to Cheow Lan lake, provide paid transport to and from the hotel to anywhere and the prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly.
Nicest staff, excellent breakfast (with a vegan option of avocado toast), and perfect location in Khao Sok Village but also right beside the national park
