The receptionist in the end recommended the bus 822 (I think it was - please confirm with them) that goes from the area where the hotel is (San Fernando de Henares) directly to the airport. The schedule is weird like only once an hour or so but it only costs 2€ so for travellers on a budget it is important to know.AlexandraGreece

Honestly I wouldn’t have slept worse at the airport and I would have saved 110€!
