I suggest to stay either in Denizle or Karahayit. Denizle is a big city, where you can get more options for your stay. However, Pamukkale is small and after visiting the tourist attraction nothing much to do. I rather liked another village next to Pamukkale, which is Karahayit, where hot springs are there.

If you like Turkish food, the local cuisine is authentic and they have Mom and Pop restaurants that have home cooking

It is a very beautiful and peaceful area.
It is a very beautiful and peaceful area. It's a good idea to include Pamukkale on your Turkey visit route. One day should be enough.
Note: entry to access the thermal pools is expensive but covers a very large area. Consider knowing if they have water so you don't make a trip in vain.

The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting.
The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting. The rest was a huge disappointment. We were unable to see any similarity with the tourist promotion photos. The white thermal pools with blue water can barely be seen. Cleopatra's pool is a trap for tourists. Extra payment is required.
The thermal pools are artificial, slippery and full of tourists. We have to walk barefoot on aggressive flooring.
The entrance at the bottom next to the city is a mistake. It requires you to walk up barefoot for more than 500 meters on very harsh ground for your feet.

This place is only worth visiting if you have never been there. Even so, you have to manage your expectation and forget about all the photographs about Pamukkale you saw, which is pretty much the magic of a good photographer. Most of the pool are dried and there are far too many people.
The Herapolis ruins is surprising good and well- maintained, which I would perfer to stay there longer. Our visit via the north gate is a good choice though.

I read many reviews of people complaining about lack of water or the site globally turning grey. Climate change. I was visiting mid September after months of no rain and water was enough to understand why even Cleopatra came there: Hierapolis (full) visit is amazing. I recommend people to read a bit the story of this city before visiting
Easily arrive to this hotel by bus from Denizli. There is a bus station nearby - Cross a road and pass another house and arrived. Very beautiful and good breakfast. There is a rooftop view to see hot air balloon during breakfast time. They helped us keep our luggage for the day we visit pamukkale until we leave at the late afternoon. There is also swimming pool but due to weather still cold, no water is fill at the time of visit. Good value at my time of visit, low season in mid February.
The hosts both wife and husband were pretty pleasant and helpful. We got a newer room with nice AC and space for 5 people. The place has a cute garden where we were offered chai as well at night. I loved the cozy and welcoming environment. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a nice and clean dwelling near to the Pamukkale thermal waters. We drove to the hotel but parked the car there and walked to the attraction and the restaurant. The breakfast was simple and good.
The best location, the hotel just right in front of pamukkale. You can walk like 100 meter to the right side to the entrance. From hotel room you can see pamukkale and hot air balloon or paragliding.
Breakfast was rich. Room facilities is very good.
Love embroidered bed sheet and pillow cases.
The hotel is also close to minibus bus stop, which you take from and back to Denizli bus station.
Personal were very helpful and polite.
Recommend this hotel, very worth for money.
The stuff we're absolutely warm, down to earth and welcoming, they were very helpful and gave us tips to where to travel and go to site see, car park was easy, help with carrying luggage was given.! I felt very comfortable with the hotel, service, cleanse, and bedding. The people in the town were the nicest iv seen in Turkey, very welcoming and down to earth, food quality and price were absolutely amazing. I will definitely come back... definitely! Highly recommended 👌
Pamukkale / Hierapolis is a dream of a place: the ruins, the “cotton” mountain, etc. Hotel Sahin is a comfortable location to enjoy your visit. However, the hotel itself does not justify a visit. It is comfortable, practical, and well maintained, but nothing of this world. Do enjoy having dinner at the “White house” restaurant 2 blocks away. The vegetables and fruit, as in all of Turkey are incredible
The staff was friendly. And it's one of the few hotel gave us the exact type of room we booked during our 2 weeks trip in Turkey.....The outdoor pool was small but warm as described. And there is interesting eco-friendly set up in the room-- the aircon will turn off automatically if you doesn't close the floor-to ceiling window to the balcony properly.(some might find it annoying)
Family owned hotel. Breakfast was great, home made meals cooked by grandma :) We also had dinner in the hotel, affordable prices and very tasty meals. The location is great, very close to the entrances to Pamukkale travertine pools
Friendly staff. They helped to arrange hot air balloon and to answer our questions about Turkey, culture, what to do, where to go, etc
I strongly recommend this hotel in Pamukkale. The accomodation was great, near to the restaurant/white terrances. Room, bath and balcony are very big and very clean. The pool is just perfect, we enjoyed a lot! Mr Turgain, the manager, was very friendly and made us feel like home and a real friend. We will definitely come back next year, thank you so much!
The hotel is 2 minutes far (by walk) from Pamukkale thermal baths. The staff has been incredibly kind and available to meet our needs and beyond. They prepared for us a great turkish breakfast even if it was outside the breakfast scheduled time (were overslept). The facility has also private parking spots, which are essential if you come by car.
This hotel was old and our least favorite hotel during our trip. The room was okay but musty and old. The spa wasn’t very nice and they charged me extra for a head band that I didn’t even want. The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s located very closely to the Pamukkale thermal pools. Thankfully we only stayed one night here.
Hospitable staff, the professional and enthusiastic chef’s breakfast is delicate and yummy.
We travelled in Turkey in this sultry summer and this hotel was the only one we stayed that had screen window to prevent mosquitoes
Weird thing is, even 3 or 4 star hotels in Turkey we stayed don’t have screen windows.
Very nice and cosy place with a good vibe. Walking distance from the cotton castle. The staff is very friendly and esp. Mr. Ali over there is such a nice guy who always helps you out with the itinerary and the information related to staying in Turkey. I highly recommend this place.
The hotel is located at 2’ drive to the Pamukkale’s main entrance. A nice swimming pool and an amazing exterior thermal bath.
A good choice for relaxing and visiting Pamukkale.
Friendly owner and staff.
Late checkout available.
On-site car park and a supermarket right the corner.
The garden and pool at Venus Suite Hotel are simply stunning. I loved spending my afternoons lounging by the pool and taking in the gorgeous views of Pamukkale. Unal always made sure that I had everything I needed and even brought me some refreshing drinks and snacks
The hotel is clean, great location, outstanding breakfast and I recommend dinner at hotel’s restaurant. The owner and staff is great and accommodating, swimming pool is a big plus. This was by far the best stay of our trip to Turkey
Staff was a family. Very friendly. They cooked dinner for a charge but very good price and taste for the cost. Nice pool and good clean facilities. AC and wifi. Absolute best hotel for the price in Turkey.
Best location near the entrance, clean rooms, filling breakfast and friendly owner who let us leave our car at hotel's parking after check out. Plus bonus pool with thermal water from Pamukkale.
