Totally clean and comfortable. The room is almost a whole apartment, with its own fridge. The microwave oven and the water cooker are in the shared space downstairs. The end stop of the Sevilla and Almonte buses ("Surfasaurus Caño Guerrero") is close by.
Located next to Doñana National Park, Carabela Beach & Golf Hotel features an outdoor pool surrounded by a sun terrace and gardens. It is a 10-minute walk from Matalascañas Beach.

The staff was very nice and the food at the buffet was good too.
Hostal Tamarindos is set in Matalascañas in the Doñana National Park, 29 mi from Huelva and 164 feet from the beach. There is free Wi-Fi and public parking is available just across the road.

The location is very good if you like it lively. Close to the beach and the restaurants. The room has the needed basics including a small useful fridge. The service is good, the person at the reception is very amicable.

Matalascanas is right beside Donana National Park but the mosquitoes don't stay behind the fence so bring plenty of insect repellent because they are irrepressible and they are everywhere. At this time of the year (April), the main supermarkets are closed (Google lies about this) and so are a lot of restaurants and other shops etc. At this time also, the bars and restaurants on the beach are mostly understaffed and overpriced and so don't expect service with a smile or in a hurry.

Its a strange sort of half deserted seaside town, moatly 2nd homes. We visited in March i imagine it is much busier in summer. Not many places to eat out off season and the places they did have are very basic. One ripped us off by charging 40e for a piece of steak, but it is the closest beach place to Seville. The beach its self and sunset, and surrounding nature areas are beautiful.

The beach and the sea were the best you could expect.
The beach and the sea were the best you could expect. The town was dead. A lot of places were already closed down for the winter in mid- September when it was still very warm and sunny. Matalascanas is a weird place. Spanish holiday makers from nearby Seville may love it but for international travellers I do not rate it at all.

Small town, with long beach and very windy weather. When you want quite and long walking, it's perfect. But when you want some life or picnic in the beach:) , it's not for you. Here is fantastic park Donana and awesome western town El Rocío. It's good for short break. And there is small problém, when you don't speak spanish. Many people don't speak english.

The beach is superb and plenty of restaurants to chose from both ends of the beach.
There wasn't enough beach bars for young people, just one very good one playing great music that closed by night. If this bar had stayed open at night we would have gone there every evening.
Restaurant service wasn't the best but the seafood at the restaurants was amazing.
We loved our stay here - very well equipped place, easy walking distance to the lovely beach and big seasonal supermarket (July-August), free secured parking, plenty of information about the surroundings, great value for money. Very helpful and responsive host. Would def stay here again if back to Matalascañas.
The owner of the property, Pablo, was a pleasure to meet. He's helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. He even gave us a big bag of fresh local oranges (which are delicious)! Pablo's friendly and generous nature made our overnight stay feel like we were locals in Matalascañas. What more could you ask for?!
Absolutely beautiful gardens. Stunning patio, and lovely to sit out and read in the morning or evening on our private terrace. The swimming pool was also delight, and we took great advantage of it. Tasty breakfast and good service. Less than 5 mins to the Main Street, and plaza. Not far to the beach.
Onsite parking, good location. Comfy beds & good shower, fridge too! So unusual in Spanish hotels. Plus kettle & tea/coffee-making facilities in reception area - another great point! Spotlessly clean too.
Excellent communication from Jacinto the owner he really looked after us . Location yards from the beach and private garden looking out to the sea. Safe , secure and private property .
The location is amazing, the beach is 100 meters from the hostel and it's surrounded by restaurants and bars. The room was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful.
