Perivolos has the best beach I've seen in Santorini.
Perivolos has the best beach I've seen in Santorini. It is sandy and doesn't have any big stones on the entrance to the water. It gets very deep in the water very fast. There are many lovely bars and restaurants, and it is easy to reach either by car or by bus from Fira. Perivolos is a good place if you want to be close to the beach and in a quiet area. But there are not many shops around that you can walk to quickly, so a car is needed to get to bigger supermarkets and bakeries. It's possible to take the bus to Fira but can be very crowded. Other than the beach which we did not like and the restaurants right out the back of the hotel, there was nothing you can walk to. We had to take car service wherever we wanted to go. We spent a lot of money on cars.

The beautiful beach was right in front of the hotel, and they have great lounge chairs and umbrellas for the guests. Rooms were very clean and beds comfy. The best part of the Sea View is the staff. Kostas, Adonis, and George were so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel pampered and relaxed. Fira and Oia were only a 45 min drive. Highly recommend hiking the 10km path from Fira to Oia. Views are breathtaking, and if you time it right, you can see the sunset in Oia.
