The rooms and location were perfect, spacious and cozy and a great getaway for good friends. The outdoor space lent itself to picnics and a relaxed dinner. Was exactly what we were looking for!
The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location, clean room, friendly & helpful staff.
Mitzpe Ramon is magical.
You can enjoy a different view depending on the time of day. Make sure you get to see the sunset on the promenade and watch the mountains change colors.
There are many trails - the easiest is to walk along the promenade.
If you want to hike, make sure you take plenty of water and a good trail map. You can get info at the visitors center - which is well worth visiting. They have a lovely light show exhibition that explains how this erosion crater "machtesh" was formed.
The crater is a geological wonder. It is also fun to see the ibexes (mountain goats) walking down the streets of the city.

Mitspe Ramon is a small town with a relaxed artistic atmosphere. Desert weather: cool at night hot and dry during daytime. Unique place for discovering stars, colorful rock formations, studying fossils. During winter you can view flash desert floods from a safe location. Great place if you want to spend time by yourself listening to the wind and staring at nature's wonders.

The natural desert scenery is amazing, especially from the cliff top where the Ramon Crater begins. Herds of gazelles stroll through the town. There are a few chic eateries e.g. in the Spice Quarter. We often eat at Mauna, in the main shopping centre: it's vegan, with a limited menu, but the food is delicious.
Driving In Mitzpe Ramon is easy, but most places are walkable. Remember, many shops are closed on Saturday/Jewish Holidays.

Mitzpe Ramon is a gem for nature lovers and nature photographers, especially if you like deserts of course. There are many spots to hike and visit, or having a stroll along the cliffs with stunning views.
If you just wanna rest or enjoying nightlife, there are some nice cafes and bars, for having a cappuccino by reading a book or going out for some live music.

Loved the stargazing in the crater with Ira the Starman- highly recommend this.
A visit to the Alpaca Farm and to Nana Vineyard were very enjoyable.
The visitor center presentation together with the Ilan Ramon exhibit had a huge emotional impact.
Artist Colony/local crafts shops in the "Industrial Zone" were amazing
A well balanced blend of activity, quiet and night life.
Car is a must for quick easy access to all sites.
Ultra and Levi's were our favorite restaurants.
Be sure to check hours and if reservations are needed for events
We had a really warm welcome by Omri and the rest of the staff, who took us to our very stylish room.
The vegan breakfasts are nothing less than amazing! Perfected by Britney, the hotel chef, these breakfasts were a wonderful start for every day, even for non vegans like us.
This place has great vibes with really nice people, definitely worth staying or even just stopping to eat if you are around
Based on the reviews I expected to like the decor and to be greeted by unfriendly staff. I did indeed like the decor but I also liked the staff who were friendly and helpful. I asked for an electric kettle and immediately got a new one - still in its box. At 6 pm there was a free drink. My room was large and comfortable. The Bakery/Cafe nearby was great . Overall I liked this hotel a lot.
This was a perfect family vacation with our toddler. At day, there was more animals around than she could feed, and all of them gentle and friendly. At night, campfire and stars. Strongly recommend! A well equipped kitchen and excellently maintained cabin made things easy for mom & dad, and the nearby crater edge was absolutely stunning at sunset and easy to reach by bike.
Great, clean, spacious and nicely and newly furnished two bedroom apartment. The hotel is a renovated apartment block, in a residential neighbourhood. Swimming pool is small but clean, the apartment is well serviced and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is short walking distance from the promenade with its spectacular views over the crater.
The eco-camp is an ideal place for star gazing, relaxing and having a peaceful night. The hosts were super welcoming as well. We came by public transport and taxi (150 shekel from Mitzpe Ramon to the camp), but were picked up by friends in the morning. Generally, I’d rather recommend getting to the camp by car (as also stated by the hosts)
As close as possible to safari in Israel, waking up surrounded by animals, walking freely next to our window with beautiful sunrise and sunset view. Remote location but close enough to the crater and visitor center, the city and nearest restaurants and shopping district.
An amazing secluded location in the vineyard. The actual building is also unique, built on the mobile base of a patriot missile system.
Close enough (13 minutes) to Mitzpe Ramon to enjoy the local restaurants and music scene and to also enjoy the silence of the desert.
Really cool vibe. Full functional kitchen to use. Lots of space to sit inside the lounge area. Tents are very cute. Bathrooms good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location to everywhere else in Mitzpe Ramon. People social in the hostel and always happy to chat
Everything was wonderful. For some reason my first night I developed a very bad allergy, coughing and choking the whole night and rest of the stay. Couldn’t do much. Maybe something in the room. I don’t know. Your hotel and staff are wonderful. Great service.
We were trekking in the Ramon crater so it's an ideal base if you are into walking and need/want basic affordable accommodation. Lots of good food places nearby, especially the vegan restaurant around the corner.
It was a normal accommodation in a normal hotel. We had quite large room with a fridge and small kitchen. Breakfast was good. Parking is possible for some fee in the parking spot in front of hotel.
The hotel is a minute walk from the Mizpe Ramon Canyon, the suits are actually apartments with a kitchen, a normal fridge, a separate bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet.
The place is clean. The packed breakfast we took was excellent. The stuff was helpful when suggested we have a packed breakfast instead of waiting for the hotel breakfast.
