What Maipú lacks in scenery, unless the Andes are out from their cloud bank, it makes up for in proximity to great wineries and restaurants that one can easily ride a bike to. It is very laid back and relaxing. The newer wine region of Valle de Uco is not far away, either. Tours there from Maipú are easily arranged.

The town of Maipu itself is unremarkable, but the Mendoza area overall is fantastic. A mix between northern California and Arizona. Given the cheap car service rates, in the future, I'll stay in Mendoza City where there are more creature comfortts--wine country was only about 30 mins from downtown.

My friend and I enjoyed the quietness of the town and the friendliness if it's occupants. The main square was attractive with a large central fountain, trees and benches. On Sunday evening there was a market surrounding the square, however I don't know whether this happens every Sunday. We took a bicycle tour of several wineries ; lots of fun and very easy because the area is flat. There is an I-Site on the main square and luckily for us there were English speakers, and again great service and suggestions. A thoroughly enjoyable visit....
This was an oasis during our visit to Mendoza. Super friendly staff, lovely rooms and guest lounge plus huge garden area with pool to relax and refresh. Nice meals and the breakfast was generous (included in the price). The team organised a fabulous wine tasting day for us, cars to/from airport and local recommendations. Excellent value and we came away in better shape than when we arrived. We would definitely come back!! You can’t go wrong choosing this place to stay.
located on a small vineyard, this property has 7 different hotel rooms and includes daily breakfast, along with optional dinner (additional fee). The owner, Hans is on sight and very helpful and willing to answer questions and provide advice. There are a couple of nearby cab drivers that are also quite helpful and can take you around the area for reasonable fees. Ask for room #7 which is upstairs and has a lovely view. The house dog, Rambo, is an added bonus!
This place is an oasis next to Mendoza City. All the facilities are exceptional and the pool is beautiful.
What made our stay extra special though was the staff. With their amazing service and their warmth, they made us feel completely at home!
On one of the nights they prepared a bonfire and brought a guitar and a percussion box and with the other guests we all shared an evening of music. It was very special!
Great location!! I was here for a convention, and it was just a minute walk from Arena Maipu. Quiet neighborhood, everything was clean, apartment was great and when you consider views, you wouldn't think that the best view was through a window of the hallway, that you could see the Andes each morning. Lots of great restaurants and wine bodegas nearby. Ask also for Ariel the tourist guide info.
A family run lodge in Maipú, Mendoza. The lodge had such a calm, relaxed feel about it. Their breakfast and dinners are hearty, and you NEED to check out their wine cellar and taste some of their delicious wines out on the veranda in the evening. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated and designed. Their pool is so refreshing in the heat of the day and has a lovely view of the Andes.
Beautiful, small hotel set among an active vineyard. Basic rooms but very nice pool and common areas. If you order ahead, the restaurant food is outstanding. House wine from the vineyards you staying in is excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good air conditioner. Hotel is in suburb of Mendoza, Miapu, which makes for a nice, quite location.
Great private location on a main Street in maipú. Close to many wineries good food options and shopping center. Great meat shop with wine and deli on the corner, fruits and veggies close by. Apartment is well kept, nice kitchen. Great owner. Gifted me a bottle of wine and an alfajore on the pillow. Jacuzzi tub, great TVs. Place was awesome
Nancy was very nice and welcoming. She explained the apartment perfectly even though we don’t speak Spanish. I liked the location because it was walking distance to the center of Maipú where we found groceries, western Union, SUBE cards, etc. We took an Uber to get to the bike rental shop - Maipu Bikes.
The place is very comfortable, spacious and made us feel as home.
The site provides a lot of privacy too.
We had a short trip, but MARGAHOME is located in a strategic point in MAIPU. It`s ideal to go out to visit a very beautiful environment and profit the place as a weekend house.
we enjoyed our entire stay. Hans is a very nice host. the rooms were nice, the pool and garden is great. the food is muy bien, Hans had some bikes we could use for touring maipu and he even picked us up when we had a flat tire. super nice. if you have the chance to stay here, do it!
Beautiful view. Great staff. Cutes animals. Could not ask for anything better if you want to enjoy the beauty of Mendoza! The rooms are beautiful and clean. The wine and food are great too. I recommend this place to anyone. Family, couples, or friends
The pictures don’t do the apartment justice. It’s a really lovely place to stay with very comfortable rooms and beds! Hot water when we needed it and a tele to stream shows from your phone! The host also booked us a taxi back to Mendoza!
It was so nice! Exactly like the pictures and the dinner was amazing. I was so glad we stayed here instead of in the city in Mendoza. It was pretty easy to get taxis or Ubers wherever we needed to go. Super relaxing and quiet.
