Beautiful location in Mendoza in Chacras gardens particularly pleasant and relaxing. Location safe with facilities within walking distance. Breakfast extremely basic and as such reflected overall review
This area is much nicer for a wine based trip than Mendoza city, Chacras Village was charming. You need a car to get around but so much to see! We went to several wineries for lunch and also did a winery bike tour one day. We also took a trip to the villages at the foot of the Andes - only a 40 minute drive.
Quaint little city, nice options for lunch or dinner, but most places for shopping take a siesta from 1330-1630, just FYI. Clos De Chacras was a local winery/restaurant just minutes walking distance from Lares de Chacras and it was so good!
Chacras de Coria is on the outskirts of Mendoza. It has what you need without the noise of the city. You can cycle round the vineyards, take day trips up Aconcagua and visit the Valle de Uco amongst other things. The Malbec is gorgeous. We enjoyed the food at Tea and Company although we wanted to eat at 7.30 p,m. which is early for the Argentinians so, we were not able to choose from the whole menu. Lunch at Cava de Cano was an amazing experience: your own dining room, about 30 starters. We only managed starters and mains which cost about £13 each. Because of the precarious financial situation, most people like to be paid in cash. You can negotiate a discount for cash. The problem is that there is a maximum daily amount you can get from a hole in the wall bank so, take lots of dollars. We took 2 buses via Mendoza to go to the Termas de Cacheuta, the public baths. Not worth the effort. Full to the brim with visitors and not a particularly nice place
We stayed for about 5 days and it was the perfect amount of time. We are not wine-crazy but we still really enjoyed the trip. Very romantic with absolutely incredible food. Quaint and unique places that are fun to explore. Check out El Mercadito and El Enemigo for sure.
Super cute location, close enough to Mendoza city but far enough to have smaller town feel. Great restaurants, easy to bike to vineyards. Really great place. Lots of craft breweries around as well as great local wines. Super reasonable prices
Everything was perfect - ou upstairs apartment “De Los Jazmines” was elegantly decorated and the view into the gardens from 3 sides was very calming. The gardens are truly amazing and our stay here was perfect way to overcome jet lag after our flight from Australia. The main house, were we enjoyed our daily breakfast was again calming and elegantly decorated overlooking the gardens and pool area-
Pilgrim's Rest exceeded our expectations. Cynthia and Sarah are superb hosts and incredibly helpful. The property itself is stunning. It was a perfect oasis. Lounging at the property felt so serene and peaceful. The neighbourhood felt very safe as well. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Mendoza region!
Chacras de Coria
Location was good for the wineries but rather isolated from town and local shops - Mendoza was over a hour away by local bus. The hosts were very pleasant to us and took some trouble to help us with advice and assistance, providing an efficient early morning transfer to the airport. Breakfast was simple but tasty.

Alejandro and staff really made me feel at home. Organised amazing trips and even cooked myself and some other guests a steak dinner. Pool lovely and steady flow of wine perfect. Important note, there’s no hotel name outside so I thought I had wrong address and drove on but it’s def worth going inside

I like how convenient everything is. It took us less than 10 minutes to get to the square where is full of restaurants. Victoria was not on site herself but she had been very responsive to our communication. All the facilities were great and we enjoyed Netflix when we chilled at the posada.

Deborah was very helpful scheduling our wine tours. We did the barbecue at the hotel and it was very good. Loved Chacras. It was so quaint and we felt safe and welcomed. Spent only one day in Mendoza because we liked Chacras so much. The whole family was very helpful and hospitable. Thanks!
Friendly and extremely helpful staff. They helped and provided guides for our wine tours. They also recommended several excellent local restaurants and other restaurants in the downtown. A quiet oasis within Mendoza . We will return .
