It is a very nice little city with lots of restaurants and bars for any kind of public. The sea has a wonderful colour, it is super clean (at least while we were there) and behind the lighthouse there is a super beach with rocks, it looks simply GREAT.

We enjoyed walking around the town and beach area.
We enjoyed walking around the town and beach area. We travelled to the Bauxite Lake which was nearby and hiked around it and then down to the ocean. A highlight was going south and swimming in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. We hired a boat for the two of us for 3 hours for 60 Euros. It was absolutly amazing and the grotto's were beautiful. The water color was just amazing! A highlight of our trip to southern Italy.

It is a really attractive town, with pretty streets, a castle and a lovely old cathedral. The cathedral has some spectacular Byzantine floor mosaics. In grim contrast, the Martyrs Chapel contains the bones of 800 Christians massacred by the Turks in 1480. We spent an enjoyable couple of hours exploring and ended up for a good mojito and beer on the front.

Very interesting old town, beautiful castle and churches, etc.
The old part of town is full of charm and pleasant to strall around. Eating on the sea front, watching the boats come and go, real relaxing holiday.
The surroundings also offer possibilities to visit impressive caves and the famous cava de bauxite.
La ozza B&B is one- of- a kind place in Otranto. Claudio’s ( the owner) hospitality was outstanding and made us feel right at home. What a wonderful experience it has been staying at your place, singing together. We stayed as a two couple in two rooms and the rooms were very clean and spacious, spotlessly maintained,. You were so accommodating and friendly throughout the entire process, which made staying here an absolute delight.Hope to see you again.

Location could not be better. Steps away from shopping, bars, restaurants & the beach. The hotel is fresh, clean & tastefully decorated. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Breakfast is made to order. A/C works very well. We had a balcony with a view of the sea but we also enjoyed the sunsets on the rooftop. So beautiful! We loved our stay at Hotel Bellavista. Thanks so much!
Everything was perfect! Francesco is the best host I have met. He is very attentive to all the details. Francesco gave us excellent recommendations for our stay in Otranto. Loved everything about this hotel. Beautifully decorated with excellent facilities, it is located close to the historical centre. Staff were friendly & helpful. Our room was large, modern & comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best & the breakfast room has an amazing ceiling.
It is in a perfect location… Away from the chaos of the city, but still a five minute drive. And the property is within minutes of all the best beaches. The covered terrace in front of the apartment was perfect for hanging out, having breakfast or other meals…
Great location for the best beaches, Otranto, very helpful host who waited us till late, served us delicious breakfast and farewelled us with a local Tenuta vine. Very recommended, clean and charming place in the south Italian agriturism style.
The location is fantastic. You cannot get more central. The size of the room (junior suite) was in line with a standard room elsewhere. The best part of the hotel was the staff - which were exceptional. Extremely friendly and courteous.
The location was fantastic, near the beach, restaurants, lots of attractions like the historic port and the old town.
