Guests can relax in the spa and wellness centre, including a hot spring bath, a sauna and a hot tub, or in the garden. The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and car hire is available at The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko.

The staff are very nice and helpful, have a wonderful warm welcome and everyone working diligently. During my stay all the staff have been very supportive and nice, especially the F&B staffs. Thank you for such a memorable trip.

The facilities are super awesome, with free laundry, free minibar (even with alcohol!) provided. Female & Male public bath did interchange each other for evening and morning session, so we can enjoy both facilities. They even have massage chairs in the public bath area for free. Sadly if there is chance to purchase milk/ yogurt after onsen, it will be perfect! The breakfast and dinner are nice too. Breakfast is semi-buffet with quite a lot of salad & drink provided. When we mentioned one of us has certain food allergy, the manager checked in details to ensure everything is alright.

Guests can enjoy soaking in the indoor and outdoor public hot-spring baths at Nikko Senhime Monogatari. Massages can be requested and a sauna room is available for an extra relaxation. A free shuttle is available from JR Nikko Train Station and Tobu Nikko Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas.

Beautiful traditional room, but slightly westernised with low bed and chairs (rather than futon and sitting on the floor). The hot springs facility was superb, with basic instructions provided. The meal was served in a private dining area with our own server, so we could eat at our own pace - so many beautifully presented courses. Ideal location for visiting the shrines. The staff could not have been more helpful. There is even a shuttle to the train station.

Location is excellent, less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. Arriving before check in, staff will store your bags securely and give you a ticket to retrieve it. Our room on the 4th floor had an incredible view of the mountains. The room is actually quite spacious and equipped with everything you would expect - TV, fridge, kettle, mirror, reading light, chair, coat hanger, etc. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. There is an included breakfast, but can't comment as we never tried it.
