This place exceeded our expectations. We tried teo different rooms and both were traditional, cosy, and memorable. The staff, the dinner, the breakfast, and the nature will remain the highlights of Japan trip. Arriving at the location was an adventure that made the hotel all the memorable.

The hotel stays very close to the lake, there are travel passes around the lake and in the area. The hotel itself is very good, with onsen, massages, massage chairs, and table tennis. The breakfast and dinner are delicious with a huge variety of food. The hotel also provides a home kimono.

The onsen and the food is wonderful! Onsen are amazingly beautiful and the meals have so much interesting variety. There is an arcade room for kids. Location is lovely but far from easy transportation. There is a small train stop that's a 12 minute walk but an hour train ride to main train station in Nikko.

Offering views of Kinugawa Valley, Kinugawa Park Cottage provides adult only accommodations with free private parking. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

It is a very cozy and nice hotel next to the Kinugawa River. Close to boat rides. Lovely views, great onsen! Picturesque photo spots. We enjoyed this trip!
