What an amazing place! The hosts Tricia and Lydia were wonderful. Welcoming, friendly and informative. They were easily contactable before and during the stay with prompt replies. The elegantly decorated house is spotless, and kept spotless by their lovely housekeeper Tanya who cleans and regularly changes the linen and towels. Everything in the house is top quality and makes self-catering a delight! Catering can be arranged if needed. One evening, Darius (the groundsman) and his wife Amina made a delicious meal for us with fish and chicken cooked over an open fire, home-made salads, rice and bread. I highly recommend this experience as the food was the best we tasted whilst on the island! The house is an easy 15 minutes drive from the airport, and the location directly on the quiet beach was perfect. There are several restaurants nearby (short drive). You can also walk to the bar and restaurant of the small hotel next door. The small but very well-stocked supermarket just over the road is perfectly located and takes the stress out of meal planning. A truly luxurious place to stay. Highly recommended!

Nice house in a pretty village. Ocean view. Very quiet, there are large trees on the site. There is a store nearby that has almost everything. Paule and Paul are wonderful hosts, we felt great sympathy for them. We received excellent recommendations on vacation-related issues. Yes, this is the second time we have chosen this villa. Of course, you need a car so that your vacation is not monotonous.

The villa has everything as described. Very comfortable, I loved the swimming pool and the garden. In the back garden I loved the terrace with the jacuzzi with Mountain View on one side, and sea view on the other side. The kind Lady Maryanne is taking care of everything you need, cleaning, washing clothes, changing bed sheets, providing fresh fruit from the garden. there is nothing we couldn’t ask. Mr. Robert Payet, the owner, must have been the kindest host I’ve ever met. Even though he is living on Praslin, he came over to meet us in person. He let us check in as early as we wanted and check out as late as we wanted without me asking for it. The refrigerator was so full that we didn’t have to go shopping at all. I mentioned we traveled with kids so he made sure there was enough ice cream and pizzas and so on in the refrigerator. I’ve never seen anything like that before. He invited us over at his luxury hotel Le Duc de Praslin for 1 day. He arranged pick up at the airport, gave us a room in his hotel ‘to change our clothes and have a shower before flying back’, we went to the hotel beach and swimming pool, had a very good lunch. As I said, the hospitality of Mr. Robert Payet is beyond any, any expectation. As a pilot, I travel a lot with my family, but I have to say that I have never met a host as friendly, helpful and hospitable as Mr. Robert Payet. This was my second time in Seychelles, and definitely not the last time, but I do know that I will not scroll through Airbnb or booking next time, I know where to go!

Pretty much everything. We were a party of 8 sailing the islands and wanted a place for one night (New Year's Eve) to organize our own party with food, BBQ, drinks, dancing etc and then being able all 4 couples to catch up some Zzzs the day after. It was wonderful and we had a lot of fun until the early hours. Danielle, the hostess was very charming, accommodating and helpful. The house is up the hill on some steep winding road but very manageable and once reaching the house you are rewarded with a very beautiful view of the bay and the Indian Ocean. Priceless. For the price we paid, of course you don't expect some sort of 5* stuff, but all is nice, clean and honest just like the locals would have... and this is what we were looking for. It is not a hotel it is a self-catering in a truly local house. I would certainly recommend it.
