Very friendly staff and the kids loved being around the animals and being able to feed the alpacas and walking around the paddock with them. Lovely quiet area for a small family getaway.

We loved pretty much everything about this property. We had abandoned our previous accoms after only one night and this was the perfect replacement.

The villa was exceptional. Jeff took us on a “Grapes to Glass” tour and lead us on the “Canapés” & wine experience. Both were very good as a starting point for 3 days in Hunter Valley. Lunch on the patio and dinner at the Gates were both exceptional.

Located in Pokolbin, the renovated Spicers Guest house offers an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. Éremo Restaurant, with its modern Italian cuisine is a centerpiece of the retreat.

My wife and myself booked 2 nights accommodation at the Mercure as it was very centralised to Bimbadgen Estate for the Take That concert we were attending. The rooms were the highest quality and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. During our stay we also did some wine tasting at DeBortoli's Hunter Valley, we went to the Hunter Valley Chocolate and Fudge factory, had dinner at Harrigans Pub and attended the Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas lights. The furthest we travelled from our location was only a 10 minute drive. It has beautiful manicured lawns and gardens and is the perfect location for a weekend getaway, corporate stay or to host an event

Was fantastic, Jo gave such a great spread of a continental breakfast with exquisite add ons soaked in wine and glazed. The breakfasts were fantastic value for money, apple and OJ given with tea/coffee etc.

The staff were lovely, room was beautiful, and location/views were stunning.

Comfortable accommodation not lacking in size. Location was handy. The breakfast was a little disappointing as I was expecting a full buffet. Having said that what we had was delicious. The evening meals were well presented and tasty.
