Situated next to Marimba Park, this modern hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free private parking and a small gym. Great location near Parque de la Marimba, where you can enjoy beautiful live marimba music played by a full orchestra—it’s a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, and there’s a small but well-equipped gym with a treadmill, bike, elliptical, and some dumbbells. Breakfast is nice, though I wish they had ketchup! Secure parking is available. The security guard was especially helpful, friendly, and spoke English. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk didn’t speak English, but she was still very kind and welcoming. Overall, a great stay.

We loved it! Super clean, close to the center, hot water 24/7, fully equipped kitchen, great internet, excellent service and staff attention – 10 out of 10. We immediately felt at home. There's always coffee, tea, and cookies in the kitchen, and they let us check in early and check out a bit later. They even have ping pong! A wonderful place you'd want to come back to. Special thanks to the staff for their care and attention. 10/10

We booked this hotel last minute because of a road block to San Cristobal. Lady at the desk was more than happy to help and contact our other hotel. The rooms were very modern and spacious, very nice! Good and fast wifi! Including a breakfast buffet with enough options (toast, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, potatoes, chips, muffins, fresh fruit). The hotel is right next to the mall, so easy to go there too.

Posada El Zaguan is a renovated Mexican-style hotel in San Cristóbal de Las Casas. It boasts mountain views, a shared dining room and free breakfast. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Excellent location, room was great, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We appreciated an early check in without any extra fees after arriving on a night bus. We also appreciated them storing our luggage and letting us hang out in their lobby area after checkout until our departing night bus.
