It was a fun old accommodation. The guy who checked us in made us feel like we were disturbing him. Considering we had to check in, we had no choice.

The cottage is adorable. The gardens were lovely and well maintained. It was easy to navigate the area from this location, and it's great for a quiet stay. The town of Burra offers a great mining region tour for a very reasonable price. We loved that the people of Burra are proud of their town and its history and enjoy sharing it with tourists.
