Very nice place with a mini museum inside. Beautifully decorated and cosy. Right in the middle of the old town. The staff helped us book a taxi for cheaper than didi to the attractions. Breakfast is great and the golden soup is the best.

The hosts were absolutely perfect. They offered fresh tea (tea leaves not tea bags) everyday and snacks. They helped me booked a driver and helped book tickets for my visits of the touristic spots i wanted to see. Room was spacious, clean and confortable. I didn't used them but htere is a kitchen and washing machine aslo to use freely.

The hotel is quite close to Datong Ancient City although many would prefer taxi than walking, a 30-minutes' walk to the entrance. The room is generally clean although show signs of age. The breakfast spread is good and the restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. The staff at the reception is also friendly, always insist that we carry a few bottles of water, provided in the lobby, with us whenever we go out travelling the city.
