Accommodations in Cleveleys

The apartment was clean and modern. There was everything we needed for a short break.

The property itself was clean and tidy and in a good location, and Jacqui, who I dealt with during our stay, was lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately, there were ongoing plumbing issues which did impact our stay. On the first day, we had no running water at all, with only a trickle of cold water coming from the shower. A plumber did eventually attend and resolve the immediate issue, but this wasn’t until around 9pm. The water pressure then remained very poor for the rest of our stay, and the plumber advised us that this was a general issue within the apartments. The shower also leaked, which I reported. A member of staff and a plumber came out and sealed it, but we were then asked not to use the shower for one evening, which is far from ideal when staying with children. Unfortunately, the shower continued to leak afterwards and was never properly fixed during our stay. When I raised these issues with Booking.com after returning home, I was particularly disappointed by the owner’s response that the problems had not impacted our stay. They absolutely did. We had a great week overall, but that doesn’t mean the issues with the water supply and shower didn’t affect our experience. I would have appreciated at the very least an acknowledgement or apology rather than being told that it didn’t impact our stay. The property itself has a lot going for it, but in my opinion it needs some plumbing work to prevent future guests experiencing the same problems.

Lovely location and perfect for what we were looking for ☺️. Lovely and clean and everything you need for the stay. Many thanks guys xx
