Accommodations in Márathos

My wife and I had a great time in this lovely accommodation. Marcos is a great host and an amazing person. He made us feel at home and offered us some nice recommendations, which made our trip better. The room, the bathroom, and the kitchen were all spacious and well equipped. The establishment also has a nice swimming pool and some amazing views at sunset. It is worth noting that due to the positioning of the hotel the air in the evening is a bit cooler, so even in the middle of summer we could sleep perfectly without turning on the air conditioning, which was a big plus.

My partner and me stayed in the junior suite for my birthday weekend (inhabitants of Crete) and it was absolutely gorgeous. Balcony with an astonishing view + very close to the main pool with good sun layers. We made a reservation at the Marea restaurant for my birthday, which we really enjoyed. Together with an amazing saxophone performance, a great hostess/waitress, and a fantastic sea view, the evening as a whole was considered perfect.

It's a traditional Cretan Village style place that you can enjoy being a tourist. The breakfast included stuff that any local would usually eat, you do not choose but get a variety that is available this day, omelets, eggs, pies, yogurt etc. If you rent a car to move around the island and need to organize a group event of a sort - it's perfect. There is an orthodox little chappel on the territory. There is a taverna and a minimarket, treatment like you are guest at your friends house style. I personally think it's amazing for winter time, it has a fireplace in each room. A/C is also there. Wifi - only available at Reception. If you have troubles walking, think of it and prepare, as it has uphills and stone pavements. You can get iron from Reception too. Very friendly people.

The reception staff were very kind, caring and professional one of the best I’ve experienced. The restaurant staff and food were stunning, the views breathtaking and the massage therapist was exceptional.

Excellent hospitality, great location (very close to beautiful beaches), amazing views and delicious food. We will definitely come back again thank you very much !

Wonderful house, Spacious, calm and clean. Situated in the middle of fields and orchards at the skirt of a small village.

We loved the space that the villa offered us for our two families of 4! There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and the pool and outdoor areas are fantastic for meals and drinks. The property is located on the top of a beautiful hill with an incredible view of the sea. The villa is around 20 mins from around 10 coves that have the most beautiful clear water. The host Phillipos helped us with a few areas to visit in the area as well as provided us will excellent restraint options in Rogdia and surrounds. You will not regret this villa! It’s beautiful, modern, spacious with everything you could possibly want. You definately need a car to be here though.

We were greeted very warmly by Kostas and Demetra. The place is even better than the pictures, because you can't imagine how beautiful and serene the view is. And low light pollution so you can see all the stars at night! There's even an telescope provided by the gracious hosts. Not to mention the quietness, only hearing bells from goats. This is why we chose the place. Also we wanted some middle-way between Heraklion and Chania, and even so we could not see all the places we saved so we will have to come back. The place was spotless clean and all utilities present + a few newcomer gifts too. Thanks for everything!

Excellent apartment, large, clean, well appointed. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful bonus. Rodia is a gem of a village with great views.
