Absolutely amazing resort.. can't fault anything about the stay.

I had the best experience at family hostel in every way. Family Hostel became so much more than just a place to sleep. The friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and all the little extras like karaoke, pool, and fun evenings made every day memorable. A special thank you to Lucky, the owner, for creating such a warm and friendly environment where everyone feels included. It’s the kind of place where strangers become friends, and leaving feels much harder than arriving.

What I loved most about The Grand Villandra Resort Lovina was the incredible team — super young, well-trained, and genuinely passionate about what they do. From the front desk to the gardener, including the daily housekeeping team, you can feel that everyone takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of the experience. The warmth of the staff — always smiling and welcoming — made the stay truly special. The food was consistently good, and the breakfast excellent, with the nice option to order extras like a cappuccino (for a small fee). My room was spacious and comfortable, with a large screen TV and efficient room service. And not to forget — the hotel itself is simply gorgeous. Every detail is well thought out, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy Lovina.

The room are so nice and very simple, specially the bathroom and the plants inside it. We enjoyed the swimming pool. There are only 4 rooms in the hotel which make it so cozy and quite. Walking distance to the beach, and some restaurants/cafes.

- Near lovina beach (in walking distance) - Helpful staff - We booked a private dolphin tour at the hotel. The captain was very skilled, over 20 year in business and althou high season he knew how to attract the dolphins to our boat, I highly recommend the tour.

I booked the basic room, which was ok but very basic. So for my second night I got the regular room and it was amazing, clean big, with a side Seaview. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Very nice hotel, super nice staff, beautiful gardens, and lovely pool. Super clean room, comfy beds, A/C, and hot shower. Good breakfast, I love the jaffle! Nice, quiet location, close to the beach. They also book tours, taxi, and laundry services. Excellent value!

If you're looking for something fancy, keep looking. If you're more of a down-to-earth traveler, especially on a budget, book right now! The location is really great, very close to the Lovina Beach. You can ask the owner lady to book a dolphin tour for you. Super convenient. And the place comes with a cat, a dog, and a chicken. The ginger boy will not steal your breakfast (trust me) but will definitely steal your heart.

I booked this because of the references even though I find 2 star can be risky. This was worthy of more! This was such a beautiful location. The grounds, pool, and buildings are simply gorgeous. I arrived late and was put in a Superior room instead of the bungalow I'd booked and had to ask the next day what was the difference, after poking my nose into an empty one. I think only TV and size. I'd have still loved the bungalow, but really appreciated the privacy of the end room. Bed was comfortable, I didn't use the free wi-fi, the shower was good. Breakfast was simple and light but perfect to start the day. I didn't have dinner but the menu looked good. Close to the beach where boats go out early in the morning to view dolphins, and a little supermarket was almost directly across the road. I will stay longer next time, as it's perfectly relaxing and a great place to stay with a partner. I was solo this time.

I loved the owners, their sweet dog, the authentic feel of the location and rice fields and how helpful and kind the staff was.

Super friendly staff, very clean, and a great location close to the beach and shops. The cooking class was a highlight – tasty food, patient chefs, and such a fun experience (way too much food, in the best way!).

The villa located on the lane, but still near from the Lovina center, worth it price, nice room, nice staff, good place for relaxing.

The atmosphere was good, the view from the pool was nice, and the room was spacious. We especially want to thanks Ms Dian, who is a really friendly host!

The property located in a good area and close to the lovina beach (we drive), all of the staffs are very friendly and the room is more than we expected. And the most importantly, clean 😽

The location was stunning, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the pool was perfect. It was one of the most relaxing and beautiful places we've ever stayed. Our room was also spacious and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was very tasty.

Everything! From location to rooms to staff. Everything was just perfect. Also the quality of the food of the restaurant was excellent.

We didn't have breakfast at the restaurant, we ate lunch and dinner at the sports bar and the food was amazing! The pool area was incredible and the gardens were so beautful!

The staff were amazing, always very welcoming and very helpful and cheery and knew us by name. Check in isn't until 3pm but we were there before 2 and the staff were very kind to allow us to check in early. The food in the restaurant is some of the best food we had in Bali . The pool is very relaxing and beautiful, the breakfast is very delicious and filling and there's a great variety. The view from the room was insanely gorgeous and being able to see the sunrise every morning from our balcony was just spectacular. The room and bathroom were very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The resort is kind of in the middle of nowhere but that's what we wanted and it's the perfect escape away from the busy city.

There were many things I really liked about this place, the pool was my favourite, such a beautiful area with an outlook over the rice field. The water is crystal clear and a perfect temperature. Plenty of loungers and umbrellas for guests. The room has a lovely deck area facing the garden and rice fields. The room and bathrooms are large, comfortable and clean. Everything you need, even a full length mirror, two sinks and a hair dryer. I would have loved to stay longer however it was full (only 5 bungalows)

Location and staff were excellent.

Nice property with 2 pools and access to the beach. Comfortable bed and pillow. Small fridge. Complementary tea/coffee. Excellent personnel. They arranged a dolphin-watching trip for us (which I wouldn’t recommend, as there was 100+ boats congregated and chasing dolphins in a small area).
