Accommodations in Munduk

Quaint little home stay with fabulous staff! Room was wonderful, comfortable bed, lovely pool and stunning view! We were able to walk to the Golden Valley Waterfall entry spot on the main road and traversed through the jungle to 4 waterfalls and back to the home stay! Great adventures!

The free breakfast was incredible! They organise massage therapists to come to the hotel in a beautiful outdoor area for a massage at any time of the day. The pool was beautiful and overlooks amazing mountain views. The surrounding area is gorgeous and the towns close by a fun to explore and get nice food.

You are on the top of the mountain far from noisy city the nearest city is 30mnts driving. They have neat rooms and breathtaking view and friendly staff especially Sri she is so kind and friendly with very beautiful smile and soul. Also Luh De the lady for the massage is so professional and lovely!

The place is so beautiful, and the views are incredible. You can see they have put a lot of love into the place and gardens. Staff were lovely and helpful and make a good nasi! And the showers were amazing good pressure and hot water which is nice after a day of waterfall chasing !

Puri Lumbung is a fantastic place to stay. Staff super helpful, food amazing, quiet, private, beautiful gardens and views, lovely spa treatments after hiking each day, and gorgeous sunset location. Would highly recommend staying here.

The food was exceptional, the view from the tent and actually from any point of the territory is really beautiful. Other than that, there is a hiking path nearby and you can reach 4 waterfalls in several hours.

My stay was wonderful. The room had a unique view and was cleaned every day. The breakfast was also excellent. The owners organized a tour of the local plantations for me, as well as transportation to my next destination. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Thank you!

Being able to stay at Gede’s place and becoming his family is definitely the highlight of my Bali trip. He not only welcomed me to his place but also showed me the beauty of Munduk & Bali with the most authentic way. Through his place, I was able to experience Balinese culture, learn & see how Balinese live their life while being mindful and grateful. Gade, Novi, and Jess were so attentive during my stay, truly took a good care of me, and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the stay. As they were waving at me when I was leaving, my driver smiled and said now you have a new family here. And I’d say that he is 200% right. Highly recommend this place. Not to mention, the facility was spotless, breakfast & dinner were amazing, Gede, Novi, and Jess taught us how to make Canang Sari and showed the Balinese culture, campfire, and watching sunsets.. everything was amazing. Everything about it. From the moment we arrived. The view, the surroundings area, the restaurant for Munduk area standard, and the cabin we're staying. The staffs are nice and have good customer service. Will definitely come back.

My partner and I decided we'd stay in Lovina for a change and when we saw this villa online, we couldn't resist - and we were not disappointed. Most reviews will speak on the rocky dirt road you encounter when getting to the villa, but what's waiting for you at the end of this beaten path is a hidden gem. The villa itself is very spacious and comfortable, with a huge bed, cold AC, two sinks (one for you and one for your partner) and a huge shower. The views from the verandah and pool are insane, featuring rice fields and the ocean, something you'd expect to cost an arm and leg. The staff looked after us very well, tailoring our stay and always checking in. It is hard to get a taxi, so I'd suggest budgeting for the driver through the hotel (300,000 per trip) and planning your days so you don't rack up a big transport bill. The driver is great and will drop you off and pick you up wherever, whenever. The food is also a bit pricey compared to what you'd get on the street but it is definitely worth eating at least once at the villa as the view is breathtaking. To summarise, I 100% recommend staying at this villa. Whilst it has some cons (as just about every other accommodation), the pros significantly outweigh them.

Breakfast was good, provided more than what we needed. We were 6 adult and2 kids below 11 years old, we always had left over.

View is amazing and very good for large groups of people it was 5 of us. Stuff was very helpful and we enjoyed our breakfast and delicious lunch

Alamanda Resort far exceeded our expectations. The bungalow we stayed in was huge and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the view over the stunning lush gardens and out to sea was incredible. The resort has two beautiful swimming pools to cool off in. The property is a little out of the hustle and bustle of town but still walkable. The hotel also offers a very convenient shuttle service. The highlight for us was the charming and welcoming owners and the wonderful staff that looked after us. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. Highly recommended!

From the moment i arrived the staff was welcoming and extremely friendly. At the time of my arrival i was the only guest in the entire resort and they made me feel like royalty their hospitality is definitely out of this world! My room was unexpectedly upgraded i greatly appreciated it because i did not know how hot it was going to get. I travelled alone and the way everyone made me feel so safe and comfortable i felt like family when i left! I cant wait to return next year with my family.

Everything! From location to rooms to staff. Everything was just perfect. Also the quality of the food of the restaurant was excellent.

Such a beautiful, relaxing spot. Wish we had spent longer in Munduk. Staff were lovely and accommodating, making sure our 2 year old had meals she loved. Supermarket short walk up the road nearby and easy organization of taxi through the hotel (100k each trip). Room also has a water filter!

This place definitely makes you say "Wow." The staff is exceptional and the views are wonderful. The location is quiet and right in the middle of a local village. You can have a great morning walk down the small road with hardly any traffic. Bed is super comfortable. The food is excellent. The onsite massage is excellent as well.

We wanted a cultural experience and this was perfect. The place is situated in the middle of a rice paddy in rural Bali. Many waterfalls close by and a small village within walking distance. Staff and food was excellent. Great place to chill.

We had a great stay here. Maha and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Maha really knows what he’s doing and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable for us. He gave great recommendations and helped us with everything we needed during our stay. For Western travelers, this place is especially comfortable and easy to enjoy. Scooters can also be arranged directly through the hotel, which made exploring the area very convenient. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was excellent, and we truly felt taken care of. Definitely a place we would come back to next time in Bali.
