Friendly staff and amazing facilities, food is delicious

My stay at Giriwood Hotel & Villa was magical! The hotel rooms were luxurious villas, harmoniously blending into the surrounding nature. The view from the terrace of sunsets and sunrises was especially impressive. Additionally, the hotel service was impeccable. The professional and friendly staff were always ready to help and make my stay as comfortable as possible. Giriwood Hotel & Villa became a real refuge for me from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and I took away an unforgettable experience from there. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Gorgeous! Felt in touch with nature

The best thing was - the view from villa. Villa located in middle of rice fields, so you can enjoy beautiful view straight from your villa, or even from the pool. The entire area surrounding the villa complex was beautifully maintained, with stunning gardens and landscaping throughout. Place itself is located on the corner of small town / village, so you can expect of having relaxing time, without any hustle n bustle. Place owns a restaurant which is comfortable. As well you can rent a scooter from villa, which is very convenient if you want to travel around.

Beautiful setting, good restaurant and bar at fair prices, extremely attentive staff. Scooters and transportation can be arranged by the staff at reasonable prices. Every single power outlet in the room has usb-chargers.

The changing views on the mountains from the room's balcony and the restaurant are magic The open bathroom with the rock arch and plants is very romantic and authentic The staff is very kind and always ready to help for anything. Special thanks to Nano who driven us for 2 trips, we strongly recommend him for your driving needs around Munduk! In the restaurant, we strongly recommend the chicken curry, rich and delicious in an Indian way but not too spicy, generous with chicken, one of the best we ever ate. They have a very good cook!

The location, beautiful view on the jungle and the valley The house very comfortable and spacious, the deck with the net. The staff is nice, very helpful and available. There's a beautiful path going to several waterfalls starting from the location with several warungs and souvenir shops along the way.

We had a great time! The staff were extremely nice and helped us to organize our stay and recommended different routes etc. The room was very clean and the semi outdoor bathroom also was really nice and clean. The views from the pool and the balcony were amazing! Really a great place to relax. Breakfast was delicious and had what seemed to be the standard options here on Bali. During the night, there may be some “nature noise”, which did not bother us at all. But if you are a light sleeper, pack your ear plugs (they also provided some). We would definitely come back here!

Ambience is excellent and staffs are super friendly

Amazing feel good location. Everything contributes to a cozy relaxing vibe - great restaurant, great pool with a jacuzzi that you can enjoy even during the rain, bonfire with amazing views. All this while being surrownded by people ready to help you with anything you want. Excellent.

A very quiet place with a fantastic view. Staff is very friendly and we are thinking going there again.

Gede and his family were perfect hosts, providing suggestions, delicious food and interesting conversation. They have built the perfect place in a magical and quiet jungle environment.

This cute little hotel is situated on the hilltop tucked away from the major road. There's only 8 rooms so the staff could take great care of us. The manager Deli and the staff were especially attentive. The restaurant food was delicious. They even set up a camp fire for us so we could enjoy our food under the starry night.

The manager there, Lysca, was a great guy, very friendly and very knowledgeable and also spoke very good english which made the communication great. Overall very happy with him.

Being able to stay at Gede’s place and becoming his family is definitely the highlight of my Bali trip. He not only welcomed me to his place but also showed me the beauty of Munduk & Bali with the most authentic way. Through his place, I was able to experience Balinese culture, learn & see how Balinese live their life while being mindful and grateful. Gade, Novi, and Jess were so attentive during my stay, truly took a good care of me, and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the stay. As they were waving at me when I was leaving, my driver smiled and said now you have a new family here. And I’d say that he is 200% right. Highly recommend this place. Not to mention, the facility was spotless, breakfast & dinner were amazing, Gede, Novi, and Jess taught us how to make Canang Sari and showed the Balinese culture, campfire, and watching sunsets.. everything was amazing. I forgot to buy food to bring with me. Going to the supermarket first would have been sensible.

Big rooms, comfy bed, quiet, a lot of nature and plants, friendly people, 2 pools with a lot of sunbeds and umbrellas, big bathroom, nice hot water. Bug yoga shala, nice view, in mountains. Great to get here on bike, distanced from busy road, loved it!!! Definitely coming back

The place os very comfortable and is very unique.. have BBQ on request its good fpr healing from the city. Staff are very helpfull. The room is clean
