Lovely, spacious room and a beautiful property!

Great place and friendly staff, food disappointing

We had the most wonderful stay at Casale Rancaglia and cannot rate it more highly. Andrea went above and beyond to be helpful and did everything possible to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and got the most from the area. He took great care to plan a couple of walks for us which were excellent and recommended several places to visit. This place is friendly, welcoming and relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. The food was also excellent and the views were breathtaking.

Beautiful area, the view from the balcony of our apartment was beautiful! Giuseppe and Diana were nice, kind and always there to answer questions or give you some tips regarding eating or visits. Ow and Isa, the daughter! Wat a joy! The pool was really nice and since there are not many apartments there is always room and an bed available . We also had diner at Abadia Farneti, pasta with truffel . The truffel was found with a dog on the complex!! Really recommend it was delicious with that fresh truffel ! Gubbio is a great city! Very nice to visit and it has lots of nice restaurants (you must go and eat Pizza at Mauro!). One night Giuseppe turned down the light on the complex so we could view an amazing starfield! Really nice!!

Abbiamo trascorso due giorni con il costante dubbio di essere finiti in una fiaba d’altri tempi. La natura più autentica avvolge l’agriturismo e lo incornicia, rendendolo un luogo magico e pittoresco. Farfalle che svolazzano, galline, asini, cani, gatti e tanti altri animali convivono in perfetta armonia: c’è spazio per tutti, perché qui l’unico vero ospite è l’uomo. Gli appartamenti sono curati in ogni minimo dettaglio: dai pomelli alle porcellane, dalle piastrelle alle tende. Ogni elemento contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera di armonia e bellezza, dove nulla è lasciato al caso. Direttrice d’orchestra di questa meravigliosa sinfonia è Valeria. Le sue ceste per la colazione, traboccanti di prodotti preparati con le sue mani, ci resteranno nel cuore. Pane e dolci appena sfornati, confetture e creme, salumi e uova, succhi di frutta, latte, yogurt, kefir, burro e cereali: tutto genuino, tutto fatto da lei e consegnato la sera prima, perché a Montesalce anche la libertà di fare colazione con i propri tempi è parte dell’esperienza. Su richiesta è possibile gustare anche la cena, un viaggio tra sapori autentici, spezie dal mondo, salse ricercate, carne ruspante e vino del contadino. Un’esperienza culinaria che da sola merita il soggiorno. Dulcis in fundo, la possibilità di addentrarsi, al calare della sera, nella foresta incantata per ammirare le lucciole: un momento di pura magia che difficilmente dimenticheremo. Ci porteremo nel cuore ogni istante di questi due giorni e non vediamo già l’ora di tornare. Grazie, Valeria, per quello che fai ogni giorno, per la cura che dedichi ai tuoi ospiti e alla natura che ti circonda. È stato tutto semplicemente perfetto. A presto!

Close to the old section of town. Good breakfast and very friendly staff who explained some of the history of Gubbio and more recent WW2 history to us.

It was a beautiful place, with its flaws, which in the end could not prevent a great time and enjoying the magnificent nature. The location and the views from the windows and terraces are just great. The staff also deserves special praise as everyone was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Every question we had did not go unanswered. The check in process was extremely easy and quick. The room is beautifully furnished and very authentic. The surrounding area is more than conducive to leisurely strolls as well as some activities that are at your disposal right on the hotel grounds. Definitely a place to stay for at least three nights. The breakfast is excellent. The restaurant menu is well worth a look. Although the service in the restaurant is a bit complicated in my opinion, that does not change the fact that everything is done to a high standard. Definitely I would recommend this hotel!

Great location for a bus traveller yet within walking distance of all the sites. A very clean, comfortable room with hot drink making facilities and very welcoming staff. Good range of breakfast choices in a bright cheery room. The Information centre is close by and extremely helpful.

Perfect stay, couldn't fault anything. Attention to detail was outstanding. Bed linen, towels..the best! Fresh brioche in the morning mwahhh! Great location and our request for early checkin was met with joy..Simona has the best character for a host..nothing is too much trouble and always similng 🌹🙏

Luzia was so helpful, friendly and welcoming, unbelievable. The room was perfect and the location cannit be better.
