Accommodation in Spello

The apartment was very big with 2 good-sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a large dining and lounge area. It had most things we needed for a 5 night partial self catering stay. Most of all, the owner and his daughters were extremely helpful and checked that we had everything we needed. We would definitely return to this apartment and the beautiful town of Spello. The house is very clean, and has a wonderful view of the valley. It’s located in the old city. Although the house is not huge but it has all the facilities you need eg. Well-equipped kitchen. But what we loved the most is the owners. They are extremely helpful. We had an issue with car so had to catch train which arrived late at night. The owner (Walter) drove all the way to the train station to pick us up and helped carry our luggages into the apartment. That is very kind of him. Much appreciated. Furthermore, we were interested to taste olive oil that they produce so we asked. Instead they offered a full tasting / dinner with a very reasonable price. The food is delicious and has not only their olive oil but also other local produce. Sorona speaks fluent English and very knowledgeable. We were full and content. If we come to Spello again we will definitely stay at one of their properties, nowhere else.

This was a lovely apartment with gorgeous views of Spello. The hosts were wonderful and provided a great booklet of local recommendations. We would love to come back on our next visit to Spello!

Anna is very kind and helpful. The breakfast has best cappuccino in Italy. Good location and room space.

The property is super clean and the location is absolutely fantastic. Barbara is an amazing host and very helpful.

Very kind and friendly staff. They waited for us after check in hours. The farm is in such a beautiful place. Olive trees all around, even the pool. The view from it is so relaxing. Breakfast is very good and rich enough too. And there are good hiking pathes near. One of the places i put in my list "need to come back". Grazie mille!

I like the size of and spaciousness of my room and outside patio area

Although I was relocated to another hotel before my arrival, everything was communicated clearly and without any issues. I stayed at La Bastiglia, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The location was perfect, my room was lovely with a beautiful view, everything was very clean, the staff were hospitable, and the breakfast was truly very good.

Loved it so much! Everything is amazing! The place, the host, the rooms, the surroundings, the view!! 10/10

Very friendly welcome. Generous sized and very clean rooms, comfortable beds. Lovely balcony and gardens.

Too much, I love it there is a. Small garden outside and u can chill and enjoy the night view. City centre spello is just few mins walk for food and wine, sight seeing sunset and sunrise , has a bench to lay on. Host was very kind and only one person working as so please be patience , has parking as well, has a hair dryer & hot water bed is cozy and very soft. Had a good sleep! Thank you! God bless

Our stay at Domus Hispellum was fantastic. Check in process was seamless and the host Barbara was efficient, lovely and great to deal with. She arranged transfer from the train station to the apartment through Rosanno and Alessandro who were also lovely to deal with and a great help. The apartment was amazing, absolutely stunning and exceeded our expectations. You can tell a great deal of thought and effort has gone into the apartment and it was very clean. Being in the centre of Spello was convenient and the view from the kitchen/living room was stunning. We would defintely stay here again in the future. Nice little, clean apartment. The bed (bigger double) was comfortable. (For me one more pillow would be better). The bathroom was nicely decorated. The apartment is in a small street, close to the center.

Characterful, spacious historic accommodation in a perfect location for visiting Spello with everything you need. The host went out of his way to help in any way we needed without being intrusive.

Spello is a great base to explore Umbria and Simona's place was perfect in every way

My husband and I spent 12 nights in this enchanting apartment and would have liked to stay longer. This apartment absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the exchange of messages through Booking.com when we made the reservation, we could tell that it was going to be a wonderful place to stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated and every little convenience has been thought of to make our stay in Spello perfect. The rooms are large and the accommodations very comfortable. Stefania is the ultimate host (most likely the best we have ever experienced). Many accessories were provided -- personal care items, coffee, food. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking supplies (oils, salt, pepper, etc), bottled water, yogurt, butter. Snacks - crackers and sweet biscuits. The cooking area, while small (one should expect this in such an historic building) worked perfectly for us. Stefania is a warm and caring person who made the stay even more special -- always available to help and offer her friendship. The location in the center of historic Spello is perfect. Spello is an enchanting city, with many wonderful views, not to mention the restaurants! Stefania's recommendations (and help in making reservations) were perfect. We especially enjoyed a hike along the Acqueduct trail through the olive groves, enjoying the spectacular views looking back into the city.
