Accommodations in Yugawara

Such a beautiful and restful place to stay. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and hope to visit again some day. Great for solo travelers or small groups. Walking distance to good food as long as you don't mind the steep walk back :) great view - all around 10/10 stay

Cleanliness, comfortable, cozy

- The charm of old wooden Japanese buildings - Very clean, spacious room - The receptionist was very nice and gave me great recommendations to eat out. - Not too far from the station, and close to several nice restaurants and cafes. I will definitely go back.

The location was very ideal, very close to the bus stop and combini. Onsen is nice and clean but I wish there were more options such as the outdoor bath. Amenities are good, too.

Very nice, spacious and well equipped apartment. Great view of the sea. The host is really doing his best although since he does not speak English at all- communication is quite difficult.

This place is worth of value, close to the Atami station, and walking distance to the beach and ginza. The host and hostess are very kind, brought lots of practical information to us. Would choose to stay here again.

Had a lovely traditional feel, yet also had modern amenities, plenty of places to charge devices, something not always found in older buildings in Japan. Loved the sauna and onsen right on site and private.

The staff were amazing and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and had all the amenities one would want. The bed was very comfortable and the heating/ac unit worked very well. The atmosphere was also impeccable.

The place was perfect. The staff were really nice and some of them speak English really well. They were always helpful. The food was delicious and it was so nice to have breakfast and dinner there (don’t miss the dinner). Everything was vegan, made with local and organic veggies. We will definitely go again on our next trip to Japan.

Super cozy, friendly staff who also speak English. Showers are shared but you have comfortably large individually lockable compartments.

The view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji from our room was incredible. I had to sit in the chair for several minutes each morning and just take in the view. The staff was very kind.

Beautiful location, comfortable rooms, excellent onsen

The private onsen was the cherry on top. The tatami room was stunning; the buffet restaurant out of this world. Both Okada's facilities and the ones nearby guests may utilise are a fantastic way to relax and enjoy the surrounding, breathtaking landscape.

If it were possible to give a higher rating than 5 I would, 10 sounds good. We were greeted by Shinoda-san and the service he provided was outstanding. We felt like special guests from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. Staff was outstanding, Facilities were outstanding. Lots of indoor and outdoor activities. We will definitely be back.
