My stay at the Swiss Bay Hotel in Arugam Bay was truly outstanding. Raj & Murali are great hosts, very chill quiet and peaceful place. Absolutely great value for the price far enough away from the noisy party scene of Aurugam but not far at all to get into town to enjoy the shopping, beaches, surfing. I met some very kind lovely guests from different countries during my stay, I highly recommend this property if you're into chill peaceful places. Nice wood fired pizza, delicious pastas nearby at resorts. The cook at this property cooks great Sri Lanka foods!

Nice remodelled property, rooms were clean, ac worked great, plenty of space. The location is great for walking to the main break as well as restaurants nearby. If you need anything (tuktuk/scooter rental, taxi etc) the owners are very happy to help coordinate. The owners are very kind and happy to include you in their local card/board games! Would recommend 👍

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly and welcoming host family. Their warm hospitality and hapiness brought a smile to our faces every single day of our stay. We enjoyed playing cards with them in the evening. We had the basic room, which still is very comfortable. The bathroom in this room is basic but has everything you need. The room has a new AC. One of the highlights of our experience was the variety of services offered by the hotel. We had the pleasure of participating in a cooking class where we learned to prepare delicious Byriani, went on an unforgettable safari adventure (saw lots off animals including a leopard). They also do great laundry. Moreover, our surfing lessons with the Surf guide Risi was so good. He helpt us get so many waves each session. Perfect for totall beginners aswell as for advanced beginners.

Whisky point is such a special place and I am so glad that I stayed here. The resort itself is beautiful and the perfect place to escape and disconnect. The staff are all amazing and very welcoming. As a solo female traveller I felt very at home and could have stayed much longer. The food is also delicious, from pasta to pizza and homemade banana bread! The first couple of days I was working remotely and I found it very comfortable with good wifi. After that I spent most of my time relaxing on the beach and enjoying the peaceful tranquility and good vibes. I 100% recommend.
