Accommodations in Ixtapa

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was good. Our rooms were cleaned very well.

Gorgeous views of the beach from our room, has a variety of restaurants, shops and amenities. Elevator to the beach is super convenient but you can also use well maintained beach paths if desired. Our room’s AC was excellent and the staff kept our room very clean every day!

Very clean and well maintained. The pool was very welcoming.

The property was beautiful and clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We liked the size of the pool and the food at the restaurant.

We love the location and comfort!

The ocean views from the room were great. The room was spacious. Good communication. The shared area,of the building was similar to a hostel, the kitchen was well furnished with coffee pot, microwave, shared refrigerator. There was a seating area and balcony shared with others. Bring your own food and own coffee. They were pet friendly towards my service dog. Windows opened wall to wall for breezes from two directions ( i had a corner unit.), so had no use for A/C except when outside was loud.

Clean, convenient and the restaurant had outstanding food

The room was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Price and location were very good.

Traveling from the Hotel Zone in downtown IXTAPA, to get to Azul Grande is on beautifully groomed and clean road. After checking into assigned room, the management called in no time to ask if we like everything or need anything. Azul Ixtapa Grande is a SPOTLESS resort. I was very impressed with their immaculate landscaping, full of flowers. We used mainly the infinity pool, while that one has the best views of the ocean. I believe that pool should be an adult only and existing adults only for kids. That pool it takes much longer to get sun, better for kids' skin. Kids do not care for views. Pool service was working constantly serving drinks 11am-6pm. There is no food around pools. Elevators on the property are in 3 stages. They can take ADA persons comfortable and safely, even with wheelchair, right to the beach. Beach is swimmable and safe. All the staff was super friendly. They have many uniforms, with great designs and always clean. There are plenty employees working all day around for the comfort of guests. The beach has picturesque walking corridor to get to the other Azul Resort. Azul Grande guests can visit that resort to eat, swim and get entertained. The guest from there cannot visit Azul Grande. In the middle of the walk path is a fun restaurant. Oyster Bar, it needs booking in advance. We loved the Blackened Fish and the magnificent sunset. There is NO smoking anywhere on the resort property. Smokers must go to the beach. Employees are watching and reminding to the offenders. Azul Grande has 3 themed restaurants, all are good. Buffet was limited to amount of food, but every dish was good. The amount of food at the buffet depends on the amount of people visiting the hotel at that time...makes sense to me. My highlight was a Catch of the day, a Pop-Up restaurant above the water, for lunch. The fish was "soooo" fresh. We have not seen many dogs in the resort, if then, mainly little dogs. No dogs were at the pool area, I was afraid to see that.

The kids pool and swim bar pool

Fabulous views! Beautiful pool . Excellent service! Very clean!

Very cleans the bed so comfortable and staff really nice.

The location and the employees are excellent

Staff were attending really well Food, fun and facilities were excellent

The food was authentic Mexican food, the fruit was fresh, the venue was outdoors if you wished.

It has a nice view to the ocean and the room is comfortable overall.

Beautiful, very well maintained boutique hotel. Jaime, Sofia and everyone else at the front desk were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. Three very nice pools to choose from. Villa was modern, spacious and well equipped.

I loved the view I had from our room. The pool was also beautiful, and being able to walk to the beach was a plus. Also that all restaurants are near. I would stay here again.

Tuvimos unas vacaciones muy gratas, the location was superb. Very peaceful.

Everything was amazing as always!!!

We usually make our own breakfast
