Set in Interlaken, 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Chalet Hostel @ Backpackers Villa Interlaken offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is 80 metres from the city centre and 21 km from Giessbachfälle. I'm not a fan of hostels, but when travelling to Switzerland you don't get much choice with the high prices. The rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Big size lockers available on the rooms, secured with a card key so you don't have to worry about bringing your own lock. Location is great, near both train stations in Interlaken, plus the hostel gives you a free bus ticket to reach the accomodation.

Guests at the accommodation can enjoy billiards on site, or go skiing or cycling in the surroundings.

First is 1 km from Hotel Gletscherblick, while Grindelwald-First is 1.1 km away. The nearest airport is Belp Airport, 52 km from the bed and breakfast. Nice view and breakfast. Coffee, tea, kettle and microwave at each floor. Bus #124 in front of the hotel.

Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. We loved our stay here. Perfect location easy walking distance from the train station. The view was just incredible! We were in a frontal falls view room #9. It was perfect. Waking up to the view of the falls and alps is something I will never forget. And drinking champagne on the balcony at night. Everything was spotless, room and bathroom nice size. Plenty of room for our luggage. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of variety. And the dining room has views of the falls and mountains. The staff here were incredibly kind and helpful! Would just bend over backwards to make you happy. Especially the young woman at reception. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name.

The staff were very supportive from the beggining to the end. It was my girlfriend birthday and they were always willing to help me with a surprise for her. Indeed they overwhelmed my expectations.
